You end up spending far longer than you intended, just speaking with various monster girls. Although they’re very flirty, none of them are pushy or disrespectful. Quite the opposite, in fact. You have good discussions about what they’re looking for, and how you can help.

Rachel excuses herself, saying that she has work to do, but tells you to stay as long as you like. Several times, you look up from a conversation, and notice that Sirona has come out and is watching you intently. As soon as she notices you looking at her as well, she blushes and turns away. However, when she thinks you’re not looking again, those enchanting pink eyes find you immediately. You chuckle to yourself, intrigued by the shy, cute manticore girl.

Finally, you manage to say your goodbyes, and promise to come back and chat again when you can. Once again, you feel Sirona’s eyes follow you as you head out the door. You smile, and you have to admit that you’d really like to spend some time with her as well.

By the time you arrive home, the girls are already there. After the usual cavalcade of hugs and greetings, the five of you take your usual spots on the couch. Immediately, they begin grilling you about your day, with some good natured teasing along the way.

When you tell them about Sirona, Mazzy practically pounces on the info. “Oooh, someone caught your eye? Tell us EVERYTHING!”

You laugh. “There’s not much to tell. She’s very pretty, and shy, it seems.”

Ellie nods. “I’m shy t-too, you know.”

You smile and kiss the little goblin on the head. “You are, and it’s adorable.”

Kenna laughs. “So, a shy manticore? That never happens.”

Dakota looks at the dragon girl curiously. “What do you mean?”

Kenna grins. “Manticore girls in the old world generally aren’t concerned with concepts like consent. They’ve been known to kidnap men into being their mates. Although I’ve heard that many go willingly, apparently being a manticore’s mate is…interesting.”

You laugh. “Rachel said something similar. Apparently, that’s why Sirona is here, she’s different.”

Kenna smiles. “Most of us who come through the portal are, in one way or another.”

Dakota giggles. “Maybe she just needs someone to draw out that side of her!”

Mazzy bounces on your lap, tapping your arm. “You should talk to her about coming here!”

You chuckle and shake your head. “We’re a little short on space, dear.”

Mazzy shrugs. “Do it anyway! I’ll figure something out. We’ve been talking about getting an extension built anyway.”

The other girls are all nodding in agreement. Ellie speaks up again. “She w-would probably really l-like it here. I know I d-do.”

Before you can answer, Mazzy silences you with a kiss, and then a grin.
