New Work

I turn and see Luna and Asami walking towards me.

"What's going on?" Asami asks as they get close.

"They wanted to see my Domain after I told them about the new Essences I've gotten." I tell her and she greets them.

"Eric, I finally beat her Minotaur!" Luna says proudly and I pet her.

"Hey Ma-Eric." Innu starts and corrects herself. "Can we fly up there?" She asks pointing to the sky islands. I tell her to give me a minute and chase after Asami.

"Asami, could you show them around for me? Innu wants to fly up to the islands."

"Yeah, just leave it to me and Luna!" She says excitedly. I thank and kiss her before returning to Innu.

"Sorry about that, are you ready?" I ask and she takes her wings out. I see they rip a hole in her shirt on her back and I make a mental note to fix it and alter it for her. I didn't think of this beforehand became my wings go through my clothes. Probably because they're made of energy, not flesh and bones. I take mine out and we take off. I manage to keep up with her and we get to the first island quickly. I land and she looks around.

"This is so cool!" Innu says looking around. I look around and see the same sight as before. I do notice that the tree grew back a few apples and I store them away. She runs around and explores it before we fly to the next one. We land and I see a similar sight. There's a small lake and a few trees. I see that some of them have oranges in them. I store them away and Innu shouts for me. "Eric! Come look at this!" I walk over and see her pointing to the lake. In the lake are some fish swimming around. "Can we eat these?" She asks excitedly.

"Probably. I'd like to ask Kallen or the others just to be sure." I say and she bends her knees. She waits at the edge of the water while looking in and staying still. I'm about to ask her what she's doing when she suddenly trusts her arm in and pulls out a fish.

"Look! I caught one!" She says happily and I pet her. She smiles and I store it in my inventory for later. We go to the last island and look around. We see another small lake, a couple trees with no fruit and a few rocks. "Aww. Their's nothing here." Innu says disappointed and I laugh. She gets mad at me and pouts.

"Sorry, sorry." She turns away and I have to hold back from petting her. "How about, to make it up to you, I take you to a Dungeon later?" I say and she turns to me exited.

"Really!?" She asks and I nod. "Yes!" She says and starts celebrating. We fly back down and land next to the cabin. I find Luna nearby wearing her armor and punching a tree.

"Luna!" I shout walking up to her and she turns around.

"Eric!" Your back." She says running up and hugging me. Once she pulls away I take the Beast Guard armor set out and hand it to her.

"Here Luna. This is a armor set that I found after beating the Dragon. I forgot to give it to you this morning. It's supposed to make you faster." I say and she looks at it excitedly. She quickly changes into it and continues her training. I tell her I'll see her later and take her old armor. I'm wanting to adjust it for Innu. I enter the cabin and see Asami and Sugano on the couch.

"Eric, how was your flight?" Asami asks seeing me.

"It was fine, where are the others?" I ask.

"They went down to the ocean. Hino wanted to practice manipulating the water and the others wanted to see it." Sugano answers. I thank her and leave. I fly back down to the ocean and see Innu's flying around. I land a bit before the beach and tuck my wings away. I walk up to the shore and see Kallen, Kagiyama, Myla and Liz.

"Hey Eric." Liz says without turning to look at me.

"How'd you know I was here?" I ask.

"The mana in this place reacts when you get close." She replies.

"Eric, could I take a look at the Katana you made?" Kagiyama asks and I take it out again. He looks it over quickly and hands it back. While he's looking at it I see Strom and Eimbis by the water. "Eric, would you be willing to make us weapons? We'll pay of course." He asks.

"That'd depend. Would you give me the materials or just buy weapons I make?" I ask him.

"We'd give you the materials. And we'd give you a time frame for when we'd like it to be done by." Kallen answers.

"Sure, that'll work." I say and they both pull out a Spatial Pouch. They each take out some materials and set them down.

"Could you make a sword with these?" Kallen asks before looking down and continuing. "Well two swords?" I look at the materials and see their are some Magic Steel Ingots in each pile. On top of those are some claws or talons for Kallens pile and Kagiyamas has a big blue scale.

"We want to see what kind of weapon you can make with an alloy of these. Kallen said you made an alloy before. So just to clarify we will pay for the work once you finish. We'd like you to make a sword with an alloy made from these materials. And again, this one is a test to see what you can do. These materials are rare so we think it'll give us an accurate idea of your capabilities." Kagiyama says.

"Yeah, I can do that. When do you want them by?" I ask them.

"By Monday, if possible." Kallen says and I nod. I store the materials away and they thank me.
