I look and see Liz sanding on the other side. I unlock and open the door.

"Hey Liz, what are you doing here?" I ask, forgetting what I'm wearing.

"Hey Eric, I'm here..." She stops and looks me up and down. "Mmm I like what I see."

"Sorry about this, I was about to enter the shower."

"Don't be sorry. I like it. Were you exercising?"

"No, I was making a Katana." I answer and she smiles more.

"A strong man who's good with his hands. You keep getting better and better." She says teasingly.

"Yeah, yeah, what are you here for?"

"Don't be so cold. I'm here to ask if I can join you on your exploration."

"Why? No offense but are you good in a fight?"

"I'm offended! I'm more than just a pretty face!" She says, obviously faking it.

"Ha! You call that a pretty face. I'd hate to see what qualifies as ugly." She pauses before sighing.

"That was a good one."

"Thanks, now seriously, why are you here?"

"I was being serious. I don't look strong because I'm not physically. I use ranged magic. Specifically Nature magic. You can ask Myla and Hino or just Observe me. But I am strong enough to help." She says and I sigh.

"Very well. I'll leave it up to the girls. Come in, I'll take you to my Domain and you can ask them." I say and she proudly walks in. I take her to my Domain and immediately leave. I start showering and read my notifications.

I accept them both and quickly finish showering. I dry off and return to my Domain, but feel like I'm forgetting something. I get back and find the girls sitting, either on the couch or the floor. Myla's telling Liz about the Minotaurs but stops upon seeing me.

"Eric, that was fast." She says and the others turn towards me. "Eric." She starts before smiling and chuckling. "Your eyes." Then I remember I forgot to put my colored contacts back on.

"I knew I forgot something." I say before returning and coming back immediately.

"Aww." Luna says as I put them on. "I like them better when they're off."

"That's a relief." I say. "I always forget to take them off and have to use Healing Hands on my eyes most morning." I say and Liz laughs. "So I take your still coming?" I ask and she nods.

"Don't underestimate her Eric. She may not be good in one on one fights. But she's one of the best rear supports I know of. There's a reason she was assigned to aid us with the Katorg Investigation." Hino says and I nod.

"So Eric." Liz starts holding up my newly made Ancient Beast Katana. "Did you really make this?"

"Yep, I woke up a bit before five and got started." I say proudly.

"Where did you get these materials. I can recognize a Magic Core, however I've never seen one like it. But I don't see many of them, anyway. I can see this wrapping on the grip is at least Legendary grade maybe even Mythical. And then you used an alloy with part Enchanted Steel and something else I've never seen before, but is very magical."

"The alloy was made using Bergeth Claws. I got them when I made a Soul-Link with him. And I got the Core and Wrapping from my magic. They're both Mythical."

"So this is made with one of the best metals we can make mixed with parts of the ancient war wolf. Then you used a Mythical grade Magic Core and Wrappings. Then to top it all off you Enchanted it with a Mini Hydra Heart." Liz says partially in disbelief and awe.

"Well you know the saying, go big or go home. I decide to go big."

"You went bigger than big." Hino says and I laugh. We start getting ready and Asami hands me the lunch she made and my breakfast. We then leave and go to the apartment. After getting there the girls go into a bedroom to change into their armor and I swap to mine. I give my new Katana a few test swings. Oh yeah. The Flame Kings Blade was nice but I much prefer this. I think and sheath it. Once I equipped it a sheath of a matching color appeared on my hip. I hear the girls come out and look over at them, specifically Liz. I'm wondering what gear she'd wear if she won't fight on the front. She comes out with a green cape on her back that stops at her waist. It glows very faintly and she has on leather armor. I can see runes written on it in a very light green paint or ink. It stops at her waist where she's wearing a skirt down to right before her thighs. The skirt is the same rune painted leather and below that she has long boots that stop right before her thighs, again covered in green runes. In her hands is a wooden staff with a green gem held in place by the wood. It seems like the staff grew to hold the gem.

"Are you just gonna stare?" Liz asks.

"You did this morning. I'm just following in your footsteps.

"Two for two. You're on a roll." She says and Luna pulls on my arm. We enter the Ruins and appear on the second levels entrance.
