Devils

The Barrier appears and the sky turns a golden color. The girls and I quickly run into a storage shed and close the door behind us. I swap to my armor while they go behind a shelf full of boxes and change. I use Observe to see the name of the Barrier.

New Barrier Entered: The Golden Devils Web

"Well, that's bad." I say with a sigh. I take out my Alarming Crystal and activate it.

"What is it?" Myla asks walking around the shelf with her armor and weapons on.

"Were in the Golden Devils Web." I say and she groans.

"Oh great." Hino says behind her and I look outside. I see four figures standing twenty feet from the shed. I recognize three of them as the Golden Devil, Devil of Temptation and the Devil of Strength. But the fourth one is someone I've never seen before.

"They know we're here." I say quickly and they take a look.

"Eric, can you Observe the new one?" Hino asks and I try.

Devil Of Rage Lvl 25, Class: Devil, Title: Rookie, RP: -250, Hearts: 0, Weak: None

HP: 5000/5000 MP: 2500/2500

"Okay. The newcomer is the weakest but he's still a Devil. He'll be tough to beat." I say.

"It doesn't matter how weak he is. With the Devil of Strength next to him we wouldn't be able to do a thing." Myla says and the Devil of Temptation shouts.

"Come on out Eric. Don't worry about the girls, I swear on the Demon Gods name Kurdes, they won't be harmed so long as they remain inside the shed." His hand glows a dark light, which hurts my eyes to see a bright dark light.

"You two stay here. I used the Alarming Crystal earlier so I'll just buy time talking." I say.

"No. We're not letting you go out alone." Myla says and Hino nods.

"Don't worry. I'll just talk and if a fight breaks out I'll focus on dodging. Now I need you to stay here okay?" I say sternly and they sigh.

"You're lucky I can't think of a better plan." Myla says. Hino walks up to me and kisses me.

"You better not die. I don't want my first relationship to end in under 24 hours." She says and I laugh. I kiss them both before leaving and walking up to the Devils.

"Good, I wasn't expecting you to actually come out on your own." The Devil of Temptation says smiling.

"What can I say. I'm full of surprises." I say bowing like a actor does after a play.

"Ha! You certainly are. I'm still shocked and impressed that you used your own body as a shield and used yourself as bait to attack me. That was ballsey." The Devil of Strength says before continuing. "But it won't work again." I sigh and shrug.

"Yeah, I know. That only worked because you underestimated me and took me too lightly."

"Enough let's just fight already!" The Devil of Rage says angrily.

"Jeez what's his problem?" I ask and the Golden Devil chuckles.

"He's been obsessed with killing you. He's a bit of a yandere if I'm being honest." I start laughing hard hearing this and the Golden Devil looks at me confused and angry.

"Sorry, sorry. I don't mean to offend but I just never expected to hear that from a Devil."

"Rage is right though. That's enough stalling Eric. Let's start the fight." The Devil of Temptation says and I see the Devil of Rage start to run at me. The Devil of Strength stops him before he can get far. "Now Eric, this is what's gonna happen. You and Rage are gonna fight. If you beat Rage we'll leave the girls alone. If Rage beats you then the three of you will be coming with us. Oh and if anyone else enters this Dungeon then Strength and Goldey will take care of them. Now start!" The Devil of Strength lets go of Rage and he runs at me. I raise my blade and cast Ancient Beastial Strength and take my claws and boots out. I block his attack and jump back.

"Aw Eric, don't tell me that's all you have?" He asks taunting me. I run at him and swing my sword down on him. He block it with one arm and uses his other to grab my wrist before he squeezes and grabs my blade. He pulls and elbows my stomach making me let go. He tosses it away and pushes me back. "There. That's better!" It's now that I notice his familiar voice and facial features.

"Dick!?" I ask in disbelief and he laughs.

"Took you a while to figure it out." He taunts.

"Why are you a Devil?"

"To kill you! I don't give a crap about all this Lyna shit, all that matters is that they promised me that after you released their god I'd get to kill you and have Myla!" He says grinning and I feel my fists clench.

"What was that?" I ask angrily and he laughs.

"You heard me. Once you unseal their god I'll make Myla my plaything." He taunts and I feel my blood boil.

Draconic Rage Activating... Level 7 Confirmed... All Damage Output Increased By 35%, Speed Increased By 35%, Reaction Time Increased By 35%, Control Over Motor Controls... Poor.

I quickly dismiss the pop up and smile. I charge Dick and hit him square in the jaw, surprising him with my increased speed.

Dick recoils and I follow it up by grabbing his neck and lifting him up before slamming him onto the ground.

I try to lift him up again but he kicks my chest and I get knocked back on my ass.

I quickly get up and see him running at me. His hand suddenly gets filled with a dark orange energy. I cast Dark Chains on him and rush him. He struggles under the chains and I cast Ancient Beast Slash. He breaks the chains and tries to break the slash but only breaks 3 out of the 5.

I quickly cast three Explosions on the chains and jump back before activating them.

"He's doing better than I though." The Devil of Temptation says outside of my hearing range.

"Yes, but this is when Rages Nuru activates." The Golden Devil adds and smiles as Rage walks out of the smoke.
