Batgirl's Investigation

Felicia grinned naughtily as she eyed up the redheaded vigilante in front of her. "She's a cutie, Selina... you going to introduce us?"

"My pleasure, lover. This is Barbara Gordon, the Batgirl of Gotham," Selina replied, "Babs, this is my new partner, Felicia Hardy."

"The Black Cat. I've read plenty on you," Barbara told Felicia. "You sound like you're just as much trouble as Selina here."

"I'm sure you'll find out soon just how much 'trouble' I can be," Felicia said with a smug smile. "I do love my good girls."

"Uh-huh. So it looks like you two just cleared out Cobblepot's warehouse, huh? Because I'm gonna need to take a look at your haul."

"You could at least say 'please'," Selina pouted.

Barbara looked at Selina, her expression making it obvious she was in a strictly business mood. "I wasn't asking. This is important."

"Still the polite thing to do," Felicia pointed out. "But I'm sure we can come to an agreement... can't we, lover?" she smirked, looking over at Selina.

"I think so, too," Selina agreed. "You scratch our backs, we'll scratch yours. And *nobody* scratches backs like we kitties do..."

Barbara rolled her eyes and sighed deeply. She'd played this game so many times before with Selina, who loved getting involved in her cases. She'd always proven to be a valuable, albeit infuriating ally to her, and if Felicia was anywhere near as crafty and capable -- and everything Barbara had read about her had pointed to that being the case -- it would no doubt be best to have them both on Barbara's side.
