They set the stretcher down and lay Eric down on a bench before leaving. Once they do Kallen turns back to Larion.

"So what did you mean?"

"Any chance you'll let this go?" Larion asks while Fox carries Eric over to the table. As soon as she sets him on one of the three empty chairs his claws and boots come out.

"Larion, he's started." She says.

"Started what? And how did he just cast enhancement magic while ****?" Liz asks her and the others look at them. Larion sighs before answering.

"Okay, okay. You've been good to him so I'll tell you. Eric is not an abnormal like you though. He was born this way. His parents placed three seals on his powers before they died because reasons. The seals were supposed to last another year but someone undid his magic seal. I don't have any leads on who but now I think it might've been Armaleth. Currently he is trying to break another, but I can't for the life of me figure out why he'd do it now." The room stays silent as they process this. After about thirtyish seconds Sugano starts talking.

"What are the other two seals? How do you know this? And what happens if he fails to break it?"

"I'm not gonna say, it's his choice to tell you. But honestly I only know what breaking one seal would give him. I know this because I'm his grandfather and if he fails to break it I'm going to punch him so hard his soul will briefly flicker, hopefully stopping it from gaining control. And don't ask what it is because I won't say."

"You need to be nicer. What kind of old man is as rude as you." Fox says making Larion scoff at her.

"Why'd his parents seal his powers and why doesn't he know of the Lyna if he was born with them?" Kagiyama asks

"His parents sealed them because reasons and he doesn't know because he was never told. He grew up without any knowledge of this because his parents wanted to protect him." Larion answers.

"Why would they do that? He could've avoided a lot of pain, literally, if he knew." Sugano says.

"Because they were going up against someone very strong and who had a lot of connections. Besides, Eric is a genius. They never doubted that he'd be fine."

"Don't you think genius is going to far? Like yes he's smart but that smart?" Liz asks him making him laugh.

"Here I though you like him." The Fox says teasingly before Larion takes over.

"Yes, he's a genius. Think about it yourself. Do you know anyone else who could, in that short amount of time, figure out a plan to make the Devil of Strength kneel in pain? Or able to learn of the Lyna world quick enough to make his own guild? And what about any ideas he came up with? I'm sure you've asked him about my guilds attacks."

"Yeah." Kagiyama says while sighing. "He came up with a few logical answers in a short amount of time."

"That's what I mean." Larion starts before laughing. "Let me tell you a story of when he was younger, on his thirteenth birthday. So after the party and his friends went home he was on his new computer. His parents got it for him and he was playing some game I don't know. Anyway I'm talking to his parents and reassuring them we'll be fine while they leave to go fight and we hear Eric shout. We run to him worried and see he just spilled something into the computer. We have a laugh and, after seeing the time, tuck him into bed. That morning we wake up to shouts and cheers. I go down stairs and see his parents tired and scolding Eric. Apparently he stayed up all night fixing the computer. Despite never picking up a screwdriver or seeing the insides of a PC before, he figured out how to take it apart and clean it all on his own. Then there's his school life. I don't know if you checked his background at all but he scored third on the entrance exams. And I know for a fact he never studies. The only reason he goes to that school is because I made him. In fact, Myla could probably attest to this. She's been tutored by him for a while and I've seen the lessons plans that, according to him, he half-assed." Larion says, his voice full of pride and joy.

"Yeah, she has told me about that." Kallen says with a chuckle. "To hear he half-assed it is hard to believe."

"That's good and all, but what about those seals?" Hino asks.

"Your not gonna let that go huh?" Larion asks and she shakes her head no. "Well, you'll have to ask Eric. He's gonna have fun with that." Just then Fox grabs his arm.

"He succeeded. The blood broke." She says gravely.

"Shit, this is bad timing. But it should be fine, he's not an idiot so I doubt he'd..." Larion trails off as two horns made of fire sprout from his head, and on his back two wings follow suit. "Fuck." Larion says calmly.
