Chapter 33 by Cgannman
What's next?
You meet a seasick sailor
Author's note: my apologies for the delays guys! Hit a bit of writers block as the ship in the game is nothing more than a grind of room by room until you reach the sea captain. So it took me forever to find a realistic way leaf could make her way through this. I hope to get on past this as soon as possible to keep cranking out more updates for you guys!

As I walked along on the boarding ramp up I couldn't help but look around at the size of the ship. I began making my way to the top of the ship. I didn't want to go around just knocking on random rooms, so I figured I could perhaps get into a pokemon battle or 2 with trainers on the top deck. Door after door went by on my left and right as I walked down the hallway to the stairs.
"Who the fuck designed this ship? I seriously have to walk down the halway each time I want to go up or down a set of stairs? What the fuck."
There was no central staircase, going up and down. Just a single staircase going up to the next floor at one end of the hallway and the stairs to the next floor were at the other end of the hallway.
"If this ship ever sinks, everyone is dying on here. This is ridiculous."
Finally I emerge into the bright sunlight as I reach the top deck, only to be thrown to the ground as a man dressed in white barged past me.
"Hey watch where y-." I was cut off by the horrendous sound that came out of the man as he leaned over the railing.
"Huurrlllaaghhhohhhhhhhh god." It ended as a moan as I could hear something hit the water below. I got up to my feet and walked over to the man.
"Hey are you okay?" I rubbed my hand on his back as he wiped off his mouth.
"No, but thanks for asking. Sadly I won a bet last night that I could drink more than my first mate. Sadly, I won and now I'm paying the consequences. Say lass, any chance you could help me to my room, its just up the last flight of stairs to the right. I would be awfully grateful." He looked imploringly at me, and I knew I couldn't resist helping him. He just looked absolutely pitiful. I nodded and reached under his arm to help brace him up slightly. He may not be fat, but by no means was he skinny. He had muscles hardened from his days at sea, lifting various crates and the constant use of the stairs. Which brought me to my biggest problem. The stairs up. Across the deck had been okay, not pleasant, but not a problem. Going up these stairs was a different matter entirely.
"Thank arceus that is over. You aren't exactly lightweight you know. Though you are when it comes to your drinking evidently."
"I know, but I appreciate your help. I have a gift for you in my room that I think you will enjoy."
