“Suite 19B, huh?” Yui Tabata muttered as she opened the door to her new home away from home. The rich hardwood floors with tasteful furniture topped by a gorgeous balcony view of the cityscape would usually impress the young woman, but right now, she had other things on her mind.

Yui flopped onto the cream-colored sectional couch as she dug into her purse to take out the smartphone Vanessa had previously mentioned to the cast. The orange phone itself looked like the most generic smartphone possible, except for two stylized “H”’s on the back of it.

‘Seems pretty simple so far.’ The petite woman thought as she powered up the phone and browsed its contents. The phone contained all the basic necessities you’d imagine. There was a phone and messaging app with every contestant’s contact info pre-installed, an app with a detailed map of the island and the resort, and even a simple internet browser. The app that stood out to Yui, however, was the BP Store.

As she opened up the application she was greeted by a menu with three choices; Items, Services, and Transformations. Deciding to start with the first option, Yui was quickly overwhelmed as the Item’s Catalog began to fill in with millions of choices. She noticed a filter system near the main navigation menu and prayed that it could at least somewhat make this information overload manageable.

“‘Sigh’ Thank God.” The woman sighed in relief, as the filter system was as robust as she had hoped. Settings for food & drinks, local or international, and even mundane or reality-changing all existed. There was even a setting that filtered everything by recommended.

Yui questioned to herself, ‘Hmm… Recommended to me specifically or in general?’

Taking the plunge, Yui tapped the filter option and was greeted with a rather surprising sight. Her face reddened as she began reading the item description for the thing at the top of the recommended list for her.

“Yo.” Yui gave the energetic blue-haired girl a peace sign as she subtly brought up her Affection Menu. She eyed her score toward herself and Dan and noticed quite a big change. ‘I’m a +10 to her, so I guess she likes me. But her score toward Dan shot up to +71 from +48 since I last saw her. That’s like love-love territory. What the hell did Dan do?’

“Whatcha doing?” Maddy asked as she walked a bit closer.

Yui broke from her thoughts, “Ah nothing, just taking a look at the phone they gave us.”

“Oooh, I forgot about that! Anything neato?” Maddy ask as she began to dig through her teal purse.

“I suppose. The BP store is wild.” The smaller woman chuckled. “Great place for eggplants and cucumbers if that’s your thing.”

“Was that a dick joke?” Maddy’s head tilted.

“Sorta.” Yui raised her phone to show Maddy the glorious sight of the Master’s Sword. “Based on the recommended list, I’m guessing they want to get us as familiar with dicks as possible.”

The aspiring cosplayer’s eyes widened as she finished reading the description. Wordlessly she opened up her phone and quickly began her search. Yui’s eyebrow raised as the younger of the two smiled and looked back up at her. “Looks like it was in my recommended too!”

Before Maddy could respond, a knock on the door surprised the two. The blue-haired girl quickly ran to the door to find herself a rather elongated box with the Harem Hotel branding on it. She noticed no one in the hallway as she picked it up.

“Well, that was fast,” Maddy exclaimed as she returned to the couch and opened her package.

“No kidding.” Yui snorted as her roommate took out the imposing yet colorful “sheathed” Master’s Sword from its box.

“So what else can you buy?” Maddy asked as she continued to read the packaging.

Yui tore her eyes away from the dildo and returned to her phone. “Looks like you can also get services, though I can’t seem to select it, and Transformations like the ones we got already.”

Maddy put down her new toy and looked to see if she could select Services. “Looks like I can. Oh, look! I guess you need to have a certain amount of VP to use it.”

‘That makes sense. I have 0 VP according to the App…’ Yui looked back up to her roommate. “How much VP do you have?”

“Oh, uh… 25!?” Maddy exclaimed. “How the hell did I get that much?”

Yui began to think, “Vanessa mentioned that you got 10 from the poll but another 15 on top of that… you’re already a quarter done…”

Yui then remembered the affection level Maddy had gained and started to connect the dots. “Maddy… What did you and Dan do after we left?”

Madison Bauer blushed as she recalled all the juicy details that led up to her new status of “Girlfriend.”

Yui sighed. “So the two of you made out, and you’re now his girlfriend. Not sure how that adds up to 15, but I’m sure Vanessa will answer that tomorrow.”

“I guess… I wasn’t even thinking of getting VP. I just… needed to tell him how I feel.” Maddy uncharacteristically responded rather sheepishly.

‘This girl is going to win effortlessly… I… Don't really care about winning, but… I really don’t like how low my relationship is with Dan.’ She eyed her phone again as she remembered her recommended transformation. ‘Maybe I could…’

Maddy eventually stood up and began to head to her new room. “Alrighty, I’m going to head to bed. Guess I’ll see you bright and early!”

Yui looked up and smirked as she responded. “Night, try not to hurt yourself.”

The younger girl laughed as she stuck out her tongue and held her “sword.” “Just let me know if you want to borrow my blade sometime.”

As the door to her roommate door closed, Yui looked back at the transformation list before muttering. “I think… I’ll try a different blade first.”
