Apology accepted

You don’t really have anyone to blame for this situation but yourself. You kept an impossible mind control app running, and now it’s affecting your sister exactly how it said it would, give or take a migraine.

“This one’s on the house” you tell her softly, careful not to let your tone be misconstrued. You climb down onto the couch, pause the borderline-hentai that neither of you are paying attention to anyway at this point, and hold your sister’s hand. She’s nearly down to your eye level with how much she’s crumpled in on herself. “I think I understand a lot better now.” She looks at you with furrowed brows.

Trying your best to be reasonably accurate without mentioning anything paranormal, you explain that, “it’s like an addiction.” Hannah meekly closes her eyes to push more tears out, seemingly spent for words. “You can’t just decide to stop leering at me.” Realizing you used a word directly from the KDK, you panic momentarily, before reminding yourself that Hannah has no way to connect it. You continue, “and I don’t expect you to.”

She lowers her head in shame, but you lift her back up by the chin and look her in the eye. “I meant what I said, about this being transactional. I’m not gonna cut my sister out of my life for being a pervert.” You gesture at the paused anime as a show of solidarity. “I just need to… get something out of it. Knowing things are more equal, it helps.”

You’re not sure you could really quantify years of invaded privacy against extracting favors from someone with an altered mind. On the other hand, you can only begin to fathom all the steps it would take (and everything you would stand to lose) if you were to seek advice on this. You press on. “So yeah, I guess in a way, you do ‘sorta, kinda’ have permission.”

To emphasize your next point, you raise your voice slightly and harden your tone. “That doesn’t mean go ahead and stare at me all the time, or that I wouldn’t prefer if you stuck to when I’m clothed… and, you know, not in the middle of masturbating.” You serve your sister a glare, letting your words linger a moment before you bring Soft Violet back. “But what it does mean is… I love you, Sis. Vices and all.”

At that, Hannah wordlessly rushes in for a hug, holding tight while sniffling behind you. You whisper sweet nothings in her ear while she comes down emotionally.

Hannah pulls back from the hug, looking like she’s moved onto different worries. “So… I’m just gonna owe you forever?” A distrustful frown grows on her face. “No matter how awful I feel, I can’t agree to infinite debt.”

Her reservation worries you. This entire arrangement relies on Hannah also seeing it as fair. Without that, there isn't any meaningful leverage in place for you to fall back on. “No– yes?– I mean, I’m not gonna stop wanting some kind of kickback, but maybe I started things off a little too… antagonistic. I’m not gonna be mad every time I catch you looking, and I don’t intend for these favors to be entirely one-sided.”

Hannah balks at the idea. “How can favors for you not be one-sided?”

You fidget a little with your bright cotton tank as a course of action unfolds in your mind. Not wanting to give yourself time to back out of it, you start talking. “It’s hard to explain in words, but I– I have an idea for a demonstration. It would involve you temporarily owing me a pretty big favor, but I think you’ll like the favor…” You attempt to look as non-threatening as possible. “Do you trust me?”

A calculating look crosses your sister’s face, before getting replaced with something closer to shame. “Of course I do, you’re my sister. What do you mean by ‘demonstration’ though?”
