Liara locked eyes with Maya Brooks. “You!” Liara yelled. “What are you doing here?! You were arrested! In jail!”

“I… escaped,” Maya said. “Turns out when Shepard died, a lot of facilities shut down. Including the one I was imprisoned in. And now, I’m going to break Shepard’s heart in two. But don’t worry, I’ll let you watch…”

“No!” Liara cried as Maya pulled up a big screen which showed Shepard and everything she was doing. “You can’t!”

“But I can,” Maya said. “Because I have a surprise for you…”

Maya gestured to the footage which showed an exact copy of Liara T’soni approaching Shepard. She touched her, kissed her… and Liara could only watch as it unfolded.
