Upgrades

I step back into the empty cabin and go to my Domain Pillar. I see what I'll need to upgrade the cabin to get more rooms. I need 300 wood and 100 stone. I have the stone but I'm missing 15 wood. Oh, you know what, lets see what I can do with the bedroom. Hmm, I can upgrade it but it's very expensive, needing 750 wood and 500 magical wood. It makes since though as it'll give a buff for sleeping in the bed, increasing the Exp gained by 50% and giving a HP and MP regen boost. Okay, let's look at my map. Good there's two trees. It seems they can respawn. I equip my axe and leave the cabin heading for the two trees. Fortunately they're close to each other and I quickly harvest them getting 40 wood and 10 magical wood. I get back to my cabin and upgrade it. I see some stairs appear over the blacksmiths door. Currently the stairs just lead to a dead end. I open the upgrade menu back up and look at what I need. I'm wanting to make a Enchanting room and Crafting Workshop. The Crafting Workshop needs more wood, oh well, maybe later. The Enchanting room needs 200 magic wood and 50 magic stone. Good I have that! I confirm it and make the Enchanting room. I don't notice anything new until I walk up the stairs. There I see a new door with a blue tint and open book design carved into it. I walk in and see the walls are lined with bookshelves full of various colored books. In the center of the room lays a stone altar with a magic circle carved into it. I step up the the altar and place my sword on it. I'd like to wait to use the Hydras Heart until I make a weapon using Bergeths parts. I instead Enchant my blood onto my Midnight Cloak and try to Enchant my Ancient Beastial Strength onto it. I smile seeing I can for 410 mana total. I cast it an use Observe on my new katana and cloak.

Magic Steele Katana Lvl 30, Epic

This katana was forged by Eric Steele. It is made out of Magic Steel and is incredibly sharp and durable. A Magic Core has been placed within which greatly increases its damage and durability. It has been Enchanted with Ancient Beastial Strength giving ot more power. Deals 180-220 melee damage, Durability 662/750.

Midnight Cloak Lvl 20, Epic

This Cloak looks like the night sky, being dark and dotted with countless stars. The cloak can only be worn by Eric, whose blood has been Enchanted onto it. Gives you +5 INT, +5 WIS, +100 Max MP and makes you harder to see.

New Milestone: Intelligence 5

You got your Intelligence to 125! Rewards: Increased Crit chance with spells.

I stash the blade away and leave. I start walking down the stairs when an exited Luna runs inside. Her hair is wet and she quickly finds and runs up the stairs. Before I can ask her why she's excited I hear Asami ask a question.

"You upgraded the cabin again?" I turn and see her, with Hino and Myla behind her.

"Yeah, but I only added an Enchanting room so far." I say as Luna comes back downstairs disappointed.

"This place is shaping up." Hino says impressed.

"Any reason you made an Enchanting room?" Myla asks curiously.

"You remember the Hydra we beat? It dropped its heart and I can Enchant it into a weapon or armor to give it the beasts power. But I have to do it in an Enchanting room, otherwise it'll fail. But I haven't done it yet, I'm waiting for a different weapon." I answer, stretching my arms.

"Eric! Lets fight!" Luna says excitedly and grabbing my hand.

"Are you sure you want to Luna?" I ask her and she nods. I sigh and nod my head. "Alright, but let's do it outside. I am curious how much you've learned so far." She runs outside and the rest of us follow. We go about twenty feet from the fence and Luna gets into her fighting stance. She's taken out her claws and her arms and legs are covered in her fur. I can sense mana flowing through her and assume she's using some enhancement beast magic. I bring out my claws and boot and decide not to use my katana or Ancient Beastial Strength. Myla acts as the referee again. She starts the fight and Luna immediately charges me. I raise my claws and block her attack.

She starts swinging her claws wildly and I jump back. I Multicast Flare and send them at her. Before they reach her she stomps the ground and howls. The air ripples and my Flares get extinguished midair. She charges me again and I Blink behind her. I swing my claws and hit her on her back.

I pull my claws back and see her caramel skin has been replaced by wolf fur.

"Your skin is fur now?" I ask her jumping back. She turns and faces me before answering.

"Yeah! This Beast magic is pretty nice. But the other magics still suck!" She says causing me to chuckle. She charges me again, faster this time and I decide to try something. I use Observe to check her HP.

I smile and Multicast Air Slash using my claws and send them at her. She looks shocked and tries to jump out of the way but is to slow, getting hit on her lower stomach and leg.

She hits the ground and coughs. I run over to her and kneel next to her.

"Luna, are y..." I get cut off when she jumps on me and pushes me down, holding my wrists. She starts laughing before I pull my hands free and roll her over. I look down at her while holding her wrists and she pouts.

"I almost had you." I laugh hearing this and stand up.

"No you didn't, did you forget I can teleport." She starts growling and Myla announces I won. I pull Luna up and hear a phone ring. I look to where it's coming from and see Hino pull out her phone. She answers it and starts talking.

"Hello... Yes sorry, I'm in Eric's Domain with Myla. I wanted to try sparring with him and she wanted to join... No he beat me in one hit... Yes, and I wanted to ask you something when I get home... Okay, see you soon." Hino hangs up and walks up to us. "I need to head on home. Thank you for this Eric, and I look forward to round 2."

"No problem and sorry about your shoulder." I say before she waves it off.

"Hang on. I should get going to." Myla says walking next to her. Hino nods and the two say bye before disappearing back into the alleyway we came from.
