Vermillion city

As you beat the last trainer in your way between you and vermillion city, the last glows of the orange sunset are fading to the darker hues of purple of the night. Lights are being turned on and they paint vermillion city in a mix of bright lights and darkened roadways. You can hear the crashing of waves on the sand from further down the beach. Walking into the city, you begin your hunt for the ever present red roofed building, signifying where you will be spending the night. You see the familiar blue tinted roof building indicating the pokemart. Might as well stop by and see if the are still open at all. As the sliding glass doors part way for you, you step inside and seek out the store attendant.

"Hello there, are you guys still open?" The young man had his head buried in a magazine.

"Unfortunately ma'am we close in- I mean we don't close for another hour or so. Gosh you are pretty!" His head snapped up after glancing at me. He was slightly younger than you, maybe 16 or 17. His reaction to seeing you was adorable.

"Well thanks! I appreciate it."

You give him a wink as it was obvious they were just about to close. You tell him you won't take long before browsing their stock. Grabbing a couple more pokeballs, as well as a few status effect relievers, you head for the checkout. He watches you the whole time and blushes every time your eyes meet.

"Anything else I can do you for you today ma'am?"

"Could you give me directions to the pokemon center perhaps?"

He tells you it is just up the street to the left. You give him your thanks, and a wink to boot, before making your departure. Shopping bag in hand you make your way up the street to where the pokemon center lay. You must have just missed it on your way into town. Another set of glass doors open up as you walk in front of them allowing you entrance to the pokemon center. You walk up the the familiar pink haired nurse, before setting your 2 pokeballs down onto the counter.

"Hello there and good evening! How can I be of assistance to you tonight?" Nurse Joy's smile lit up the room as she spoke.

"I need to get my two pokemon healed up, as well as I need accomadations for the night for 1 person. If it isn't too much trouble. "

"Oh not at all. Let me get your pokemon healed up first and then I will see about getting you a room key." She took Arbok's and Charmeleon's pokeballs before setting them into the machine. A quick hum and a few flashes of lights were all it took before they were back in my hands. Nurse Joy then walked over to a nearby computer, and after a minute handed over a key with the number 8 on it.

"Room 8 is at the far end of the hall to your left. It will be on the right side of the hallway. Enjoy your night and have a wonderful night sleep." She bowed her head before returning to the front desk near the front of the building.

You quickly find your room and drop off your backpack near the front. You stretch out your back, sore from having carried your backpack for most of the day. Releasing Charmeleon, you begin prepping his meal for him.
