Chapter 11 by Decadent Empire Decadent Empire

How to spend your last night in Avaria?

Discussion with Cawse

As enjoyable as it might be to fuck one of your hot new companions, there will be plenty of time for that on your adventure. What you won't have time for is making plans once you're already on the road. You take Cawse up on his offer, and sit across the table from him. You've know Cawse since childhood, and you've always been good friends, despite your difference in station. When he was taken away to become a sorcerer, you held no ill will towards him in the reversal of your standing, and neither did he when he was kicked out of the Academy Arcane.

"I see you were busy," Cawse remarks as soon as you sit down. "And here I was thinking you were just going to sit at the tavern all day drinking and enjoying the local women. Instead you decide to bring a couple of local women along with us."

"I was going to, but they just fell into my lap." Lynn literally, and Molly figuratively. "But I'm sure you'll be much more interested in the boy." Cawse raises an eyebrow, but you ignore him and tell Jordan's story.

When you are done, Cawse leans back in his chair. "Hmmm. I'll admit, you have me intrigued. That one man alone, especially as untrained as he is, is able to reverse a spell of that magnitude... Well, let's just say if I had half his talent, I would be on the High Council of Mages right now instead of a failed student."

"Do you think you could train him?"

"I'm not sure. I could teach him the basics. At least enough so that he learns how to properly channel his power, but beyond that..." his voice trails off. That's as much as you hoped for anyways. As it is now, Jordan has power without control--To be honest, he is a danger to himself and those around him. With some traning, though, he would be a **** to be reckoned with.

"Excellent. Now, back to the business at hand. Where should we go for our first venture?"

Cawse, always prepared, pulls out a large map onto the table. "From where we are here," he points to Velberg on the map, "we will need to head due East into Korrland."

"Probably won't be many desirable women there," you remark. Seeing how they've bordered Avaria for many years, they know how to keep what few good-looking women were left far from the border. They were only allowed to exist as an awkward buffer state between the free use Kingdom and the more traditional countries beyond.

"No, probably not," Cawse agreed. "However, from there, we could head north into the Northern Kingdoms." The frigid North is known for fierce warriors who often raid each other and the South on longboats... As well as for their tall, beautiful blonde women, and forests full of elves, dwarves, giants, and other creatures. Though it would be difficult to fight their hardened and experienced warriors head-on, you could use trickery to ensnare some of their women, or could simply buy some in their **** markets.

"Or we could try going south into the Lorvian League." The Lorvian League is a loose organization of varied lands who banded together to resist the overwhelming might of the Kingdom of Avaria and its mages. The three most prominent among them are the Kingdom of Horngull, The Gerrik Republic, and the Kingdom of Dornia.

Horngull is a land renowned for its chivalrous knights and chaste women. They hate Avaria so much that any Avarians there are killed on sight. While there are few exotic women, they make up for it with their many virgins, as Horngullian women rarely have sex before marriage.

The Gerrick Republic is a newly formed country, created after an uprising of the oppressed peasantry and non-human creatures. Without a strong, central government, chaos reigns throughout their land, with bandits and orc warbands running wild. With many elves, dwarves, hobbits, dryads, nymphs and other exotic beings, and little to no protection, Gerrik would be ripe pickings for you and your group. The only problem is that the residents are used to **** and raiding bands, so many of their citizens will be on high alert or in hiding.

Finally, the Kingdom of Dornia is a small-but-powerful country that is nearly the opposite of Avaria. Run exclusively by women, men are treated as second-class citizens. They often raid surrounding villages for male breeding stock--Yet there are few complaints from their neighbors.

"There is always the Empire to the east," you remind Cawse.

He seems skeptical, and for good reason. The Judgoen Empire is a massive, ancient theocracy ruled over by a priestess/empress. They used to be far and away the most powerful country on the continent, before the rise of Avaria. They aren't quite as strong as they used to be, but are still incredibly formidable, with a massive, professional army and an interest in ending the taboo depravations of the Avarians. The risks going there would be huge, but so would the rewards. With such a large landmass, you could find almost any creature within their borders, and people from all over the world travel there to live and trade. If you could evade detection from their military, the rewards could be massive.

"I suppose we could. I would rather start smaller, though. We could even take a ship out of Korrland, and try our luck on some of the island chains. There's sure to be something of value there," Cawse suggests.

The two of you fall into silence as you ponder your options.

What path do you choose?
