Departing for the action

The departure did turn out to be delayed by about fifteen minutes but not because of Relea. A navigational update had become available and it was far quicker to download it while at dock rather than make her people watch the progress bar slowly creep up as they got further and further from secured data relays. It would almost certainly have been done anyway before they left the system but Katla knew from experience how annoying it could be on the off chance it didn't when they were ready to go.

"All ships, align time." Katla ordered, "We'll be manuvering to join with Authority forces before moving on to engage the Directorate. If you have any last legal matters to attend to make sure they're tended to before we're in the thick of things. You'll either be back in a few weeks or a few years so plan accordingly. All ships prepare to jump." For the moment she was still on the Divine Right as her flagship but depending on how the strategy meeting with the Authority went that was subject to change.
