Your eyes slowly shift back to meet the gaze of Rose as you rest your palm over the pommel of your sword. With a subtle nod, she nods back, and you slowly increase the rate of your steps to close the gap between you and the ALICE ahead. Your heart beats quickly as you near, and she hasn't yet noticed your approach. The sound of drawing your weapon would surely alert her, and it isn't your intention to bifurcate the girl anyway, so you reach out with your fingers. Slowly, quietly.

Suddenly, your attention catches the eyes of one of the worker ants noticing your movement, and then another. As they start to turn one after another, you leap forward and touch your hand to her shoulder, and as you do, you shout out, "Pleasure!" Shaking free from disorientation, you snag Flick's tail, and hoist yourself up off the nearby wooden buttress to land upon the lizard's back. You then grab onto Mina's little hands and heave her onto your lap. With a snap of its reins, you clear a way around the group, signalling to those upon Scar to follow.
