A Surprise

I exit my Domain and find myself back in the park clearing. I start walking home and thinking of Myla. So, me and Myla. How will her father react? She once told me her mother passed in an accident when she was young. Now though, I assume it was a Lyna related incident. I mean, the wife of a guild leader who's got enough power to get the Katorg guild investigation request would be a prime target to kill. Anyway, I assume her father will be overprotective of her now. It's going to suck breaking the news. Especially if he finds out I'm dating Asami and Luna as well. Oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I sigh walking up to my apartment door. I unlock and open it before walking to my living room. I see my gramps and Claire sitting on the couch, with my blue gaming chair from my room across the coffee table. Before I can say anything my gramps starts.

"So Eric, let's talk." He gestures to my gaming chair across from him. I hesitantly sit down and look at him. "So, lets talk about Lyna." I look at him shocked and confused.

"Could you repeat that?" I ask him.

"Oh come now dearie, surely you're not surprised to find your family member is a Lyna as well." Claire says pushing a cup of tea across the table for me.

"Okay? Um, what are we talking about?" I ask still confused.

"You." My gramps answers. The room is silent for a while before Claire scoffs.

"Geez you old coot! You need to explain it. He has no clue remember." She says causing my gramps to laugh.

"Right, right. So my boy, you are not a abnormal like the other Sensor told you. You were born a Lyna like me and those beast girls of yours."

"How do you know of them? And what do you mean?" I ask alarmed and getting my Domain Crystal ready. My gramps starts laughing before Claire smack's him on his head.

"Damn it Claire, could you not!"

"Hey, it's not my fault your and ass." My gramps sighs before speaking.

"True, anyway Eric, I know of the girls because Claire is a Sensor who's been watching over you. See saw them and told me. And before you ask, she has a Stigma, the Stigma of the fool it's called. It's mostly used to hide ones magic and essential remove it. They can never be detected by magic and appear as normal people no matter what spell used to detect them. However they lose all magic, never able to use or feel it again. Fortunately though her Sensor abilities are physical. It's her eyes that see magic not any spells. Because of this Claire was chosen to watch over you. Secondly, what I mean is that you need to learn about yourself."

"What about myself? I think I know me pretty well." I say causing my gramps to laugh and get hit my Claire again.

"Sorry, now stop it Claire!" He says turning to Claire and she sticks out her tongue at him. "Okay, you think you know yourself, but you don't. However it's not your fault. Your parents placed a seal on you before they died. They wanted to keep you safe and hidden. However the seal was hastily made so it wouldn't last forever, then some jackass came and somehow undid one of the three seals on you. They gave you your magic back a year before the seal would've broken on its own."

"So, my powers were sealed away by my mom and dad. Then someone undid one of them. But what are the other two seals and who did this?"

"Good, your being calm and rational about this. I was worried you'd freak out when I told you your parents did this."

"Oh I am, but I can freak out later, if the other two seals can be broken and give me even half of what my magic did then I'll need it."

"That's right. So lets get right to the point then. The other two seals contain your blood and nature. However I cant brake them. Whoever broke the magic wanted the other two to remain sealed. Only you can break it now, either that or wait a year and it'll break on it's own."

"Okay so how do I break them? And what do you mean by my blood and nature?"

"What I mean is that you aren't human Eric not entirely at least. Your father, my son, was a human who bore the blood of the flame demon, Zeferon, just like me. My father sealed this demon away in our blood, giving us its power and trapping it away forever. The second seal took the demons power from you. The third seal removed you nature. This you got from your mother. She wasn't human, I'm not quite sure what she was to be honest. I only know she was something powerful and ancient. In fact your ability to learn multiple schools of magic comes from her DNA. The powers she gave you however, are sealed away. In order to break them you need to dive deep into your soul. Once there you'll see two physical manifestations of the seals. You need to destroy them. That'll break the seal."

"How do I do that? Dive into my soul I mean?"

"You need to sleep and meditate. Once there you should see one shrouded in darkness, that being the demons power. And one shrouded in light, that being your mothers powers."

"Wait, I've been there before!" I say causing Claire to spit out her tea.
