Maybe Not So Normal

I make three chicken and cheese sandwiches and Myla makes two ham and cheese sandwiches.

"Thank you Myla." I say before biting down on my sandwich.

"Your welcome." She replies with a mouth full of sandwich. I laugh and nearly spit out mine. "H-Hey! Why'd you laugh?" She's swallowed and looking at me angrily.

"S-Sor..." I start before **** on my food. I quickly cough it up and finish chewing and swallow. "Sorry, I just found it funny, you talking with your mouth full."

"Why?" She asks still sounding mad.

"Well Myla, aren't you some kind of Heiress? I just imagined you'd have better manners." She scoffs and turns her head.

"Yeah, well I don't. I mean in front of others I do, but I like to let loose around those I'm closer with." I can see a slight blush forming on her cheeks. "S-So sorry to disappoint you."

"Oh please, Myla I've seen your math, it's physically impossible for you to disappoint me further." She stares at me for a moment before bursting out in laughter. I look at her laughing and start thinking. So first it was Asami, then Luna. Two girls who made me want to dive head first into this whole Lyna world to make them happy. Now Myla's starting to do the same. But how would I make her happy? Jokes work but what does she want? I stop my thought, hearing her stop laughing. I look at her face, red from laughing to hard and her silver hair having fallen partially over her eyes.

"What are you smiling like that for?" She asks smiling.

"Nothing, I was just thinking." I reply opening and taking a sip of the soda she brought.

"Oh yeah, about what?" She leans closer to me, our faces a few inches away.

"That's a secret."

"Is that so... Well then I'll allow you to have your secrets, for now"

"For now huh." She laughs and continues eating. We spend the next twenty minutes eating and talking. We talk about school and our opinions on teachers as well as our classmates. After eating the pie she starts talking about Dick.

"So Eric, I heard you got into some trouble with Dick."

"Yeah, but I turned the tables on him. He wanted to provoke me into attacking him on camera. I ignored him and got him to attack me on camera. Then I might've made it look worse than it is." She laughs hearing this.

"Good, that jerk kept stalking me and bullying any guy that got close to me. But with his parents being big donors to the school I couldn't just threaten him so I just ignored him. And it was so frustrating, knowing that I could threaten him in such a way no one would believe him, but if I did my father would get mad." She sighs at the end.

"Well don't worry. The day before hand I beat him and his goons up." She looks at me shocked and angry.

"Did you use magic in a normal person!?"

"No, no, no. He brought me to a secluded spot and tried to gang up on me. I fought them off and beat him up but I didn't use magic. My powers let me increase my body's physical strength remember, so I was much stronger than I was before." I say putting my hands up while she looks at me suspiciously.

"Hmm, okay." She stops and I feel the mood change. "So Eric, serious questions now okay?" She looks to me and I nod. "So have you thought of what you'll do after this? Like when your stronger and we're done with the Katorg investigation?"

"Yes, I have. I'm planning on keeping the guild together."

"Why?" She looks me in my eyes. "I mean, why do you fight? You could've run off by now and none of us would be able to find you."

"That's a difficult question to answer... what about you? Why do you fight?"

"I have two reasons. The first is that it's my responsibility. It's what my father raised me for. The second is to help people. I just enjoy it, I can't really explain why I just do. So what's yours?"

"Well, its complicated."

"Eric. I told you mine, it's only fair." She crosses her arms and smiles.

"I know, I know. Okay so, you remember Asami and Luna? Well they mean a lot to me, so I want to make them happy, and the Katorg guild will enslave them so..." I say blushing and looking away. I look back to Myla and see her crying. "Myla!? What's wrong?"

"I-it's nothing, d-don't worry about me." She says wiping away her tears. Oh god, I hope I don't regret this. I think to myself.

"Myla!" I almost shout to get her attention. I grab her hands and look her in the eyes. "So um, I didn't think this through much. Just don't slap me to hard okay?" She looks at me confused before I pull her to me and kiss her. I wrap my arms around her and hold her close. She try's to pull back but I keep my arms closed tight. After she stops I pull away. "Do you f-feel better now?" I ask still holding her close. She looks at me for a moment, face flushed bright red, her silver hair messed up and her eyes unfocused. "You look so cute right now." This seems to snap her out of it. She flinches and looks at me angrily. She slaps me across my face.

"I asked you to hold back!" I say before she kisses me back. When she pulls away I ask her something. "Why are women so confusing?" She starts laughing and after she stops I continue. "Seriously, is there some kind of book you all get when you turn into a teen?" She snorts laughing again. After she stops she looks up to me with a serious and determined look.

"Eric. W-why did you kiss me?" I smile before answering her.

"Well because I love you, why else would I?" She turns even redder now.

"B-But what about Asami and Luna? Didn't you say they meant a lot to you?"

"Yes, but despite me never agreeing, Asami has decided that I should have a harem. And it seems she's gotten Luna to agree." Myla gasps and starts pouting.

"No, only the three of us. I don't mind sharing you with them since they helped you before we found out you were a Lyna. But I'm not sharing you with more women!"

"So does that mean your my girlfriend now?" I ask smiling and turning her to look at me.

"Y-yes, but your my boyfriend too. So make sure you treat me the same." I laugh and nod. She pouts and I kiss her.
