What happened next?
Finally Cindy!
Jonathan found Cindy sitting at the bar sipping a glass of water while Jen was cleaning up.
"Ready to go to bed?" he asked, extending his hand out to help her down from the bar stool
"I've been ready for a long time," Cindy giggled.
Jonathan ignored her double entendre and picked her up in his arms. "Thanks again for all of your help and patience, Jen," he smiled at the redhead bartender.
"No worries," she smiled back. "Have a good night!"
"I will!" Cindy cheered and wrapped her arms around his neck as they left the rooftop pool.
"Did you have a good time today?" Jonathan asked, pressing the elevator call button.
"Yes!" Cindy nodded, nuzzling her head against his shoulder. "I wish it wouldn't end..."
"Well, we have to go back to work in the morning," he replied as the elevator doors opened. He stepped in the elevator car and pressed the button for the fifth floor.
"I know," she sighed, "but I wish I could have spent more time with you..."
"We'll have plenty of time during the next two years."
"Stuck inside decommissioned missile silo bunker in the middle of nowhere..."
"There are worse places to be stuck inside with twelve women," he replied just as the elevator door opened.
"Such as?" she wondered as he carried her down the hall towards her suite.
"A shopping mall," he chuckled.
"Touché," she giggled.
"Do you mind unlocking the door?" he asked when he stopped at her room. "My hands are full."
"Of course not!" Cindy smiled, reaching into her bathrobe for her keycard and unlocked the door.
Jonathan slipped inside and carried her to her bed but before he could place her down she interrupted him with a fierce kiss. He stared at her after she broke the kiss.
"Stay with me tonight..." she whispered.
"You know I can't..."
"Do you want to?" she asked, biting her lower lip.
"You weren't the first girl to ask me tonight..."
"But do you want to with me?"
Jonathan paused to pick the right words before answering. "You know I can't stay with you tonight because it would jeopardize my career," he replied. "All three of my careers."
"Because I'm not sober?"
"Yeah..." he nodded, gently placing her down on the bed.
"Turn around," she ordered before she removed her robe.
"Yes, ma'am," he replied, swivelled on his heels to give her privacy to undress and walked towards the mini fridge to grab a bottle of water.
"You can look now."
Jonathan placed her bikini top and the bottle of water on the nightstand before leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead and making sure she was comfortably tucked into the blanket.
"Good night, Dr. Lee," Cindy smiled.
"Good night, Dr. Chow," Jonathan smiled back before leaving her suite. He leaned back against her door to let out an exhausted sigh and thought Hell Week during his BUD/S training was less gruelling than trying to take care of twelve beautiful half-naked drunk women. He looked at his wristwatch to check the time and realized it was past his bedtime — he normally wakes up at 5 am as part of his routine established in both in the Navy and in the ER.
Jonathan walked across the hall to the door to his suite and fished out his keycard to unlock it. He stripped out of his bathrobe and swimming trunk before hopping into the shower.
Then there was a knock.
He wondered which of the girls was at his door. Worse yet, it could be his mother checking up on him. He stopped the water and wrapped a towel around his waist before looking through the peephole.
"Oh shit..."
Who was at the door?
