You decide that you have pushed your boundaries plenty far enough for one night. You let her fall asleep while recollecting the nights events. This certainly was going to be one hell of a pokemon journey if it kept up at this rate.

I awoke to the sound of a zipper opening up. Hannah was making her way out of the tent and flashed me a smile as she slipped out.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty. Its a gorgeous day."

"Five more minutes!" I curled back under the covers in an attempt to stay warm. Now that Hannah had opened up the zipper, cold morning air was drifting into the tent now.

"My tent, my rules. Early morning campers for us. Come on, get dressed while I get some food ready. Is your charmander okay with PokéChowWow kibble? My ratatta loves it so that is the only pokefood I have."

"That's fine. I brought Pokéomnoms with me and I can't imagine charmander getting picky now. Maybe he prefers PokéChowWow kibble over Pokéomnoms." I pulled my shirt on over my head as I spoke. Best be ready for the day when the food is ready at least.

"So what will you guys do now?" I asked Hannah as she was rolling up her tent.

"I probably will finish training with ratatta here before challenging Brock in Pewter City. Normal attacks aren't really good against rock type Pokemon, so train we must. Although since your charmander knows how to use metal claw you should have a decent chance."

"You think so? I know he is strong but your ratatta showed us we have a lot of room to grow stronger still."

"My ratatta is strong, but it was more so you didn't have a lot of experience fighting against trainers. With time comes experience."

As Hannah strapped her now rolled up tent to her backpack, I finished packing my backpack as well. Challenging a gym leader was no joke, bur before I can challenge him I know that I need to get through Viridian forest.

"You all set to go?" Hannah now had her backpack on her shoulders. She was clearly waiting on me to show me the way back.

"All set. Lets get out of these woods." Heaving my backpack on my shoulders I followed Hannah through the trees. As we walked through the forest I began wondering what my new relationship with Hannah was. Do we journey together, do we split up, are we a thing now or just fuck buddies?

"Hey Hannah, what are we?" Hannah slowed her pace as she considered the question.

"Are we not friends now?" She stooped and looked back to me.

"I mean yeah definitely. I guess I am just curious if we are anything more than friends."

"Do you want to be more than friends?"

"I don't know. I don't know what-" Hannah interrupted me with a finger on my lips.

"Leaf, last night was amazing and I'm sure you are confused with feelings you have never felt before. But I am not going to hog you all to myself. If we bump into each other again we may spend another night together, and see how things go from there. For now though, don't chain yourself down to one person. Let's be friends with just a few more benefits than others have." She flashed me a smile before resuming her pace forwards.

Soon we left the woods and were back on the path heading out of the viridian forest towards Pewter City.

"You go on ahead Leaf, me and ratatta are going to keep training this morning before we try to take on the gym. Do your best and tell me all about it when we see each other again!" She gave me a way and we parted ways.
