She returns home, scroll in hand.

Vivianne locked the door to her apartment behind her as she tossed her purse onto the couch. In the end, she had gotten the scroll for a bargain price, only having to trade a single potion in exchange for the spell. "That merchant must have been some kind of rookie." She mumbled to herself. "Trading away something this valuable for a tincture."

She sat down on the couch, and leaned forward before spreading the scroll out on her coffee table. She recognized the glyphs scrawled within, along with the significance behind their intrinsic power. She felt a tingle of excitement race up her spine at the sight. It wasn't every day that she added another spell to her repetoire.

She reached into her purse, and produced her spellbook, a small, but dense tome, bounded in leather, and thoroughly worn at the spine from frequent use. She cracked it open, flipping past the countless pages which had been edited, written over, and even ripped out on occasion; until, she finally found a black page to transcribe the spell into.

With a flick of the wrist, a quill appeared in her hand, and she started the busy work of transcribing.
