You're starting to wonder if that woman carries a wardrobe around with her at all times, she's again in a new outfit and again stunning.

She's standing just outside the office looking at you with a smirk, after a few seconds, she talks up at the ceiling leaving you a little perplexed. That is until a disembodied voice answers your question.

"Miss Ivy is asking for clearance, commander. Should I allow it?" The AI chimed in. You find yourself raising an eyebrow at the request.

"Why would she need my permission to enter? I get it's my office but technically she owns everything around here." You ask.

"Protocol dictates only pre-approved personnel to access the control room or direct approval from you for a single visit. The protocol also dictates that previous approvals be receded after a new Head of security is chosen." The feminine voice answered.

"Ok then, let her in and add her to the approval list please, thank you Aliss." You say with a little smirk after thinking for a second to not add her and let her ask for permission every time. As the lock click, you can see that although Madison is amused she also seems a little annoyed but you are not sure why.

"Thank you, Aliss. Please tell me why John is already confirmed as security head and why is it that he knows you even exist?" The bombshell asked looking pointedly at one of the cameras.

"I have decided it was unlikely for something to change your current agreement with mister Shepard so I confirmed him for the position. As for his knowledge of my existence, he figured it out almost immediately after interacting with the surveillance system." Aliss answered in what you would characterize as a smug tone.

"I'm sure you could've deceived him." the milf said in a huff. You were amused by the interaction but you had more important things on your mind.

"The real question is how in hell did you get an Ai and how can you even trust it ... her," You amended not wanting to end up on the Ai bad side.

"Ummm, how we acquired her is a long story but the short version is that we didn't know what she was when we stole her. As for trusting her ... ... I think it's just the right thing to do, if we don't extend a little trust how is she supposed to trust us in return?" Madison answered with a little uncertainty. You decided it was as good a reason as any when it comes down to it, treating Aliss as any other being and hoping it will steer the computer program toward a friendly disposition. Not without risks but in the end, what else can you do?

"So, what have you been up to? Aliss told me you were at it for hours." The House Head asked peeking at the computer screens.

"Reviewing security. Personel, assignment, protocols, weak points, priorities, etc ..." You retorted tapping your index on the desk waiting to see if Madison would stir the discussion by herself.

"Humm, Anything I should worry about?" She finally asked after a pause. A small smile made its way to your lips as you decided to be brutally blunt with her.

"I wouldn't say it's a worry, but there is a big blunder regarding recruitment." You pointed out looking for her reaction. It was small but you could see she didn't like being told there was something wrong with the way her house was running.

"We only recruit the best of the best, john. I don't see you can be dissatisfied with the competencies of any of the house staff members." She said with an edge to her voice. You came to learn Madison was a very proud woman when it came to her work, but dancing around the issue wouldn't help anyone. It was better to just rip the bandaid off and be done with it.

"And that's exactly the problem, beautiful. You have a bunch of very competent soldiers, almost every one of them, with a couple of exceptions, would be running their own squad in any military. And because the hiring process is so rigid, we find ourselves understaffed for an operation of this size." You said bluntly.

"I don't know, John. I don't really like the idea of having trigger-happy men full of testosterone in charge of protecting my staff." The milf rebuked with a sour face. You thought it was a bit odd for a reaction, maybe there was something in her past that explained her disdain but you decided to let it go for now.

"I'm not saying we should hire every troubled ex-soldiers out there, we just need to lower the standard when it comes to resume. A lot of soldiers would already be a great addition considering the staff we already have. We can take one or a couple of less impressive men and team them with some of those already here, if they have a good leader even ordinary soldiers become reliable." You explained hoping to sway your sexy boss. She didn't answer immediately, you could see her weighing her options.

"Is it really that bad?" She finally asked with some worries showing on her pristine face.

"Well, it's far from optimal ... but the fact that what we have is overkill at almost every position reduces the risks by some. I mean, most of them could hold a small army of gangsters and thugs on their own but I have a feeling worrying about thugs is not why you hired me." You said truthfully.

"What worries me is other well-funded organizations that might see openings and weakness, even more knowing that some of our members might be part of said organizations. The one thing you can be sure about when it comes to people with a decent amount of power is that they always want more, and unfortunately, they are usually good at grabbing more wherever they can." You finished unbothered that Madison herself was actually part of the people you were talking about.

Fortunately for you, you had a feeling Madison was loyal to her employees. It was rare to see the kind of devotion and love for a boss like you had seen up until now for the head of the house, that kind of loyalty isn't acquired by faking concern or bullying your people. The question was if Madison was ready to let go of her obsession with competency and let you recruit more loosely.
