Chapter 23 by ShadeWriter ShadeWriter

What's next?

Girl Talk

“So wait you girls aren’t weirded out that I’m a lesbian now?” Alex asked as she opened the can of juice she brought from the kitchen. She caught up to the others in the living room like she had said they would be.

Clover gave a small shrug and sat down at one of the computers, tapping away at the keyboard before turning the screen to Alex. On the screen was a picture of a big hunk ripped macho man in a fireman’s jacket and Speedo. His large bulge showing that he was clearly packing a heavy sausage for someone. Alex didn’t even realize she had her mouth hanging open till Sam came along and closed it. The redhead gave a slight chuckle at her friend's plight.

“Alex, you'd be Bi if you want to try and settle for a label.” Sam offered as she went and clicked a few keys to make the picture go away, much to Clover’s ire, “Nothing wrong with that. It’s a perfectly valid sexuality.” The redhead said as she turned back to Alex.

“So you.. aren’t bothered?” the Yellow themed Spy asked as she fidgeted.

“Why? You're still Alex. It's not like you're gone off and become someone else. I don’t even think Clover is really bothered by it. Are you?” Sam said, giving the blonde a sideways look. Clover sighed and shrugged as she got up from the computer.

“No I’m not…, okay a little bothered by it I’ll be honest but it’s not like I’m going to stop being friends with you Alex. I’m just still more annoyed with the sudden **** marriage, and my own part in it.” Clover said with a fold of her arms and a slight upward turn of her head.

“What’s the problem then Clover? Have to start thinking about if Alex fantasies about you?” Sam asked with a bit of a grin, “I mean we’ve all been in varying states of undress around each other.”

“Not helping Sammy.” Clover said as she glared at the red head with her index finger held up.

“Guys don’t fight this is… confusing enough!” Alex cried with a stomp of her foot. “No more teasing Clover Sammy, and you Clover, I always thought you were pretty but not like… that way. Maybe..., I dunno this is just really... weird for me now okay? It's just weird to have it..., come out like this. I thought it would be over something silly I said or did with you guys.” there was a bit of a flush to her face as she spoke though.

“Yeah well…, after that thing at the gym, you’ve been pretty pretty held back with guys. I just thought it was due to the trauma but looking back, you did start to enjoy movie nights with us more than going to clubs.” Clover stated. Honestly the Blonde thought it was just more Alex winding down from chasing guys. She just loved the hunt and club scenes too much to stop herself, but could admit that wasn't a good thing for Alex, though the brunette still tried to come along from time to time.

Looking back, such trips should have clued Clover in. She had noticed but until this Cupid's thing didn't put the pieces together. While she was going for men, Alex would usually sit off to the side or at the bar, simply enjoying the night. Clover would find her friend often talking to some of the female guests or the bartender, often for long periods. Sometimes it was a guy but it was more often girls. The hugs too; Alex had always been the most physical of the three but she'd been far more prone to giving or asking for hugs from her two friends. Honestly at the time she thought it was more for the support but... no Alex wasn't the type of girl to try and get some sneaky gropes in.

Probably the biggest piece was one night when she was on the dance floor, Clover looked over at her friend at the bar. Alex had been in her cups that night but Clover had been pretty sure she'd seen the gleam of desire in her eyes, and the dumb crushing smile Alex usually got when she was looking at something she liked. At the time, Clover thought it was just due to her being drunk and the two basketball players the Blonde was partying with.

"Was she looking at me though..." Clover thought now. Alex hadn't said anything weird that night besides the random babbles of drunkenness, but now she was even second guessing the claims of 'I luv you guys' Alex had said. No no..., she was spinning in circles now.

“Can we… not tell Kendra about the gym thing?” Alex quietly asked, shaking Clover out of her thoughts. The brunette was poking her index fingers together and fidgeting, a stance she usually did when she was nervous or felt uneasy.

“She’ll learn sooner or later Alex but I think Clover and I agree that you should be the one to tell her.” Sam answered with a light sigh. It was a bit of a story and she didn't feel right if she was the one that told Kendra. Clover vocalized her agreement with an 'uh hmmm'.

“Right right just… later okay?” Alex said, looking downward and way from the other spies. The two simply nodded. That'd be one bridge to cross someday.

"So..., what's the plan for the day?" Came a voice.

The trio turned to see Kendra walk in. She was wearing a short sleeved collared blouse and a long skirt that ended a little below her knees. Her hair was still loose though, Clover almost expected her to put it up into some sort of bun or something. A very plain office look..., though her blouse was a bit too small for her new figure and the skirt back was pushed up due to her new booty. But unless she started to dress in heavier garments it was probably one of her more conservative outfits.

"Really have to break that habit if she's really gonna stay with us." Clover internally muttered.

"That's what we're going to be figuring out." Sam said, motioning everyone to sit down. They did so, scattering around the couch and chairs of the room, though the new couple sat awkwardly near each other without trying to actually sit near each other. Sam pinched the bridge of her nose with a sigh. This was going to get annoying.

"Regardless if your new..., relationship and our own hang ups about Cupid just whisking us away to this new life; we are stuck here for two weeks. Now, we could just live in our rooms, barely talking to each other but that's not going to help anyone in the long run. Only avoid problems in the short term. Rather, I suggest we try to find some sort of activity to attempt to bond over" Sam explained, giving Clover another look before continuing.

"I'd at least like for everyone to get along in the house. So... what's something we can all go do and enjoy to break the ice so to speak."

The group started to think. For the spies it was easy, but Kendra had to pull from her memory of the show. She really wasn't as sporty as Alex, she didn't want to sit and read like Sam might, and... well she was NEVER Club material like Clover was. That and it was the middle of the day. Still Clover could probably find or start a party.

She had a few suggestions like watch a movie, go swimming, or even ask to do some more artwork..., but suggesting shopping trip was probably the easiest one to do.

What do they decide?
