Chapter 43 by CurvyLinesEverywhere CurvyLinesEverywhere

What's Xylyra going to do about it?

Watch Eva get the clothes torn off of her body.

"I don't get it," Eva said. "You're the healer. Why do you need my help?" Then she yelped as Amara started tearing her beautiful dress apart.

"I am truly sorry," Amara said with a twinkle in her eye that implied she thought neither one of them was regretting this especially much, "but I recognize the Azure Spider silk that your dress is made from. It has a quasi-magical property which protects baby spiders from disease. As a side effect, this makes the silk magically conductive-- ideal for spellcasters. But it also means that bandages made from it are somewhat self-sterilizing... against everything other than spider-bites, of course."

"I hate you," Eva said, rolling her eyes. She squirmed and stamped her foot and turned beat red as Amara set about her work. The movements of the Cleric's hands implied absolute professionalism, but the twinkle in her eyes and the sudden loudness of the ripping sounds implied that she was deliberately trying to accentuate the scene for the diminutive mage.

"When of all this is over, I promise that I will cast Mending for you. I will also do whatever else I can make it up to you."

"Oh, get a room, you two. It's my wrist!" Tirra flinched slightly as Amara tightened the makeshift bandage. She decided that the blue silk looked strangely pretty as her blood seeped into the fabric.

"Speaking of casting, why don't you just use magic to heal her? You might have been tapped out along with the rest of us, but I know you're always holding a Mana Potion in reserve."

All four Succubi glanced up from where they were huddling in luxurious bedsheets repurposed as cloaks.

"Indeed," Amara said, finally securing the bandage by tying it in an elaborate Elven knot. "And now that my duties as a healer are complete, and I can rest assured that this will not turn into a medical emergency, I shall happily turn that Mana Potion over to the Mistress of the Realm, that she might use it to get us out of this predicament."

But as she turned, she saw Olrara standing between herself and Xylyra. She was just swallowing the last few drops from her own bottle of Mana Potion.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that," Olrara said, extending her claws.

Dun dun DUN!!!
