To the campus

"We're a little bit early, but let's go to the campus." Andy said.

"Okay, then. I wonder how's your friends like."

"I won't corrupt them."

"You think so little of me ? I don't want to corrupt everyone ! I just offer you to help them."

"Which lead to corruption, don't play dumb. But I'm curious of something."

"Yes ?"

"How come that no one notices your ears ?"

"Oh, that ! Only you can see them, since you're the one who called me."

"So, you could actually be my official girlfriend ?"

The dark fey's ears turned red and she opened her eyes wide.

"I-I... Yeah... of course... I told you that I was... uh... like your secret wife or something !" She stuttered.

"Yeah, secret, but why not... not wife... but official girlfriend ?"

Sharess was clearly not used to be courted, because she was looking everywhere in confusion. Which Andy found really cute, but also, so not her. Could he have broke so quick through her mask of devilish seductress ? Was she faking it or another **** was in play here ?

"I-I could be if you want... But don't you have other girls you want instead ? Like Jess ? And... and weren't you scared of me ? Just twelves hours ago ? You even called me demon !"

Right, Andy had changed really fast, too. But he wasn't scared of her because of her new attitude... or did it change at the same time ? She was a demon, he still knew that... kind of. He just stopped caring about it. He started to like her, no matter what she was... What was going on ?

"You're right, that last part is true, and I don't know why I feel so much more confortable with you. I'm sorry I called you a demon. I'm kind of starting to like you and you're already the kind of girl out of my league. So, I don't think I would even dream to have anyone better than you as my girlfriend."

Sharess stopped dead on her track.

"Did you just asked me out ?? Even knowing that we're already bonded by contract ??"

Andy turned toward her and rubbed the back of his head, looking away. Now that she said that, he felt awkward at the realization that he asked out some kind of demi-god.

"I guess I did..."

Long seconds passed, like the cars in the streets, and Andy started to think that he made a mistake. He made the whole thing awkward like usual. But then Sharess answered.

"Well, if-if that's you want, I-I can be that..." She stuttered.

Andy finally looked at her, relieved that things finally moved on, but he was still bugged that she was doing it because they already had a link.

"Are you sure ? You don't have to, if you don't want to."

"I'm Sharess, dark fey of the secret desires, of course I'm sure !" She answered with a shocked tone.

Andy was relieved, his life did took quite a turn, it's not even a 180 at this point. He was in a dark place, alone, frustrated, feeling powerless. And now apparently he was about to date the dark fey of secret desire that was giving him so much power he was almost drowning in it...

"You know that's not just about sex, right ?" He asked, suddenly realizing that she may not even know what a normal relationship is.

"Well, it's mostly about that... no ?"

"Not to everyone, it's also supporting each others, and building a life together."

Sharess seemed confuse. And looked at him with an oblivious face.

"We'll see as things goes, come on, let's go to the campus." Andy added, not wanting to start a long explanation on relationships.

"I'll follow your lead."

She then grabbed Andy's reaching hand and they started walking again. Andy wasn't sure what to say to her, he had two girlfriends before, but it was short and mostly centered around a common passion. Sharess wasn't even human, what was they were supposed to talk about ? Transformations ? Sex ?

"What are you studying ?"

Sharess was finally the first to break the ice, surprisingly.

"I'm doing a major in French. With an option in French literature."

"You have to study languages ? How do you communicate between countries then ?"

"With translators, which I aspire to be."

"Oh... I know every mortal languages, I though you too."

"Of course, you do... Sadly, us poor mortal cannot do that."

"Don't be sarcastic."

"Sorry."

"I'm curious how you learn a language, though. Is it fun ?"

"It's... interesting. But I'm sure you'll find it boring. Also you won't be able to physically follow me, only registered students can take the courses."

"It won't change much, I'll still be close by."

They arrived to the campus a short time later and Sharess hid again in Andy's shadow. He then reached the main building, where he noticed close by Min Yung, reading a book on the grass. She was a girl of Korean's origins with long black hairs, ample hips and a quite impressive rack.

"Hi, Min !" Andy called her.

"Hi, Andy !" She answered, standing up. "You're early !"

"That's one of your friend ? You've quite some cuties in your close circle !" Sharess commented mentally.

"We were just at the same high school !"

"Yeah I didn't had much to do at home."

"Yeah, sure... Those things seems heavy. Maybe you could help her with that !"

The too familiar feeling of power flew again in Andy's body, and he felt compelled again to use it.
