Brian...

A moment of light unrecognized flirting between Andrea and Brian was bought to an end by the arrival of Brian.

“Hey babe, sorry I’m late. Hi, I’m Brian, Andrea’s better half, he-he”, Brian introduced himself to Kristi, who was weirded out that he didn’t let Andrea introduce him to her first.

Regardless, Kristi brushed passed it and said hi, and was going to ask about him and Andrea but was cut off when Brian started giving second-hand compliments to her apartment, calling it “quaint” and “homely”, before asking Kristi about her photography work.

“So what’s it like to photograph porn?”.

“I wouldn’t know. I do fashion shoots. Sometimes boudoir sets”.

“Yeah and we all know what goes on in a boudoir, he-he”.

Kristi instantly disliked Brian, and the distaste would only grow as he dragged Andrea around the party, being socially awkward and making off-colour jokes, sometimes even about what a sex fiend his girlfriend was to humble brag.

But what annoyed her the most was that Andrea was clearly bothered by it all but let ‘her’ boyfriend disrespect ‘her’ in such a way.

Thankfully good tunes and Andrea sequestering Brian away from everybody to make out so he would stop making a fool of himself helped ease tensions.

Eventually the party was winding down, and Vicki had the idea to play spin the bottle, a game to which all the aforementioned characters agreed to partake in.

They used an app on Vicki’s phone which would select random players to kiss, dare, or demand a truth from other players, with penalty of drinking should they refuse.

The game continued as one would expect, being fun but raucous and light-hearted till the game demanded Brian make out with Michelle.

Everybody looked to Andrea for permission, and Brian reasoned, “The game says I have to, babe”.

Andrea could see in Brian’s eyes that he really wanted to make out with this hot nerd chick and so relented.

“Yeah, sure, go for it or whatever”.

Michelle, who was just as drunk as Brian, consented and they made out for the allotted 15 seconds the app gave them.

Andrea had two simultaneous thoughts.

‘Good, hopefully Brian’ll get with that geek and they can be happy together and leave me alone’, and also ‘Fucking cheating bastard, showing me up in front of everyone!’.

Andrea didn’t show ‘her’ true feelings however, remaining seemingly unfazed, much to the wonder of the group.

Things became light-hearted again till it was Vicki’s turn to dare Kristi.

“Kristi, I dare you toooooo… ooh, make out with Andrea!”.

The two girls, sat next to each other, turned to look at each other, and it was like an invisible signal was transmitted between them.

Without a word shared, they came together and kissed, deeper and heavier as their tongues explored each other’s mouths and hands stroked each other’s backs and arms.

A current of passionate energy sparked between them and they became lost in each other, surpassing the 15 second mark by almost double till they finally stopped.

After the display, the group couldn’t help but applaud, whoop and holler; all apart from Brian, who’s face had become grim and sour.

“Fuck this game”, he muttered under his breath before standing up and promptly leaving the party, slamming the door behind him.

Andrea realised what ‘she’ had done and horrified, went running after ‘her’ boyfriend, leaving the group shocked and Kristi and Vicki sighing to themselves for being such idiots.

If they were lucky they might be able to see their new bestie again, if they hadn’t ruined their relationship with Andrea with all that had happened that day.
