Chapter 6 by All_Caps_No_Sleep

Just how deadly is this company?

A tasteless look of the world. (Pokimane)

Moving forward things were looking better than ever in terms of company manufacturing, they we're on schedule for one of the biggest launches of a commercial product in existence.

Pre-orders began to exceed company storage capacity, many different websites across the globe offered various ways to gain easy acquisition of their intriguingly new product, again through the powers of computer algorithms, user spending habits could be monitored and subsequently targeted for ease of spending.

However there was a very big problem.

Lawsuits, White Bridge broke many records including becoming the most sued organisation on the planet. And the fastest.

As of the current date the number stands at 321,000 and is expected to double if not triple by the end of the day. One of these cases follows a female streaming content creator. Whislt not the most high profile in terms of celebrity notoriety, the fastest growing number of standing pre-orders came from 18-30 year olds.

The age demographic that is well versed in Internet connectivity. Targeted ad's made it almost impossible for anyone between these ages to not know what White Bridge was selling, and as a result the sexual preferences of this age group have since dominated the first and second wave of pre-orders.

His name was Jason, a lawyer for one Imane Anys, driving through the streets of LA to meet with his client, a strange sense of panic in the air around him as he loosened his collar, gripping his steering wheel. As though he should have been more afraid than he really was, looking at his watch it looked like by some miracle he'd gotten somewhere in LA actually too early.

Finding her address was easy, he assumed that there would be paparazzi littered outside her residence, though having there be none was a welcomed relief. He got out of his car into the blistering heat adjusting his blue collar as he grabbed his small briefcase. He had no idea who she was or what she did really, he only knew from an email sent to him in a hurry that Imane Anys/pokimane was placed 62nd on the list of most pre-ordered.

After making it to the front he didn't have to wait long before this tiny frame pulled back the door with a frown on her face, for being 62nd he didn't know what to expect but her small body made her look like a small child, definitely not his type.

All her hair and makeup was done standing in some black leggings and a white crop top. She offered a deflated "hey come on in" while staring at the floor, given the legal circumstances being a nightmare Jason hadn't really thought all that much about what this would do to a persons image.

"Is there anyway to stop it?" She asked, as Jason closed the door behind himself.

"Errh, there should be plenty of reasons why this will not see the commercial market...right now considering the legal damages theres no way the company should be able to pay out to this many lawsuits against them. We might not even need to make it to court before their company is left paying for damages." Jason said, trying to be somewhat reassuring.

"I've seen the ad's and... well its... just disgusting. I don't want a single one going to anyone." She replied, shaking her head staring out of the window reminiscing about the ad she saw for herself. It was like she was victim of stalking, a complete violation of privacy against her, nothing left to feel but watched by everyone.

Jason placed his briefcase on the kitchen top, he opened it swiftly producing documentation to get her prepared, the girl was still very worried about what the future held for how people would view her along with thousands of other reputable celebrity faces being mass produced.

Meanwhile over on the west coast of California, the White Bridge facility was blocked at its two main entrances by two thick groups of protesters and dozens of police officers. Three FBI agents above them in a helicopter were finally given the go ahead to land inside after hours of trying to find anyone from the company to actually permit them official entrance.

They had to get approvel from one floor manager all the way over in Japan since contacting anyone higher up the chain other than delivery and personel staff was proving difficult. It seemed as though almost all upper employees at this site were being systematically let go at different rates, causing nothing but confusion for both insiders and outsiders.

"The entire perimeter of the facility is mapped out at over 2.5 miles, isolated like an airforce base! its outermost gate is standard chainlink fencing. 30 meters in is where things start to get interesting, a secondary fence, this time electrified! Guess what! Wasn't there 8 days ago!" Mell shouted at his two other partners.

"Right i see! Do we know how many personal staff are still working on site!?" Eric yelled back at his partner, gazing out the side not seeing anyone on the long lines of clean flat tarmac. Mell looked down at his phone cupping the top to shield it from light, "errrrrrrrrrrrrrrh" he hummed into his microphone.

"Oh here, despite the layoffs and "redistribution" staff on site are still estimated in the 180 region!"

"180!?" Eric remarked, trying again to look out the side to see anyone by this point. "It's a big place but there should be somebody walking around outside, it is just general staff after all, no reason why they would all be inside!" He remarked staring at the pilot hoping to get them landed as soon as possible.

"Managers office is first! Documents! All of them everything even if its in the bins!" Eric shouted.

Once on the ground the three agents had to cover alot of open area until they met fleets of white semi trucks parked with trailers in tow. Since it would be illegal to have them leave for distribution orders were filled and then moved directly to shipping waiting for clearance.

The vehicles were empty but there were soo many of them it created getting to the main building a trek. As big as a aircraft hanger the facility was silver, smooth to every corner and fitted with some of the best biometric security available. "This is the problem with having no one outside, we're gonna need something bigger than just a warrent to get in."

"You think that the employees are refusing to cooperate?" Marcus finally speaking up.

"Probably, i have no idea what they think there going to be preserving, their companies in the tank with all the lawsuits. We'll have to do it the hard way and bring a tech team down here." Eric replied slightly out of breath.

"Eric, looks like they know we're here." Mell pointed behind Eric, to black sphere with a dim red light in its center hovering in the air. Without a second to lose Eric made his address to the security system.

"Hi! I'm agent greenwood from the FBI these are my partners agent Mell and agent Wright, we have warrant to search the premises under the notion that......" Eric was cutoff by the security drone retreting upwards before hearing a promptu sound of access being granted in the form of green light over the display screen beside the door.

"I guess they might feel like they're under a lot of pressure to make things stay secure around here." Mell suggested.

"That pressure would easily be avoided if they just stopped producing their rubber sex slaves. We didn't ask them to keep filling those trucks... in fact you know what Marcus i think we need a guy out here. If they got control of their security system i don't want them locking us completely in." Eric instructed finding his hand over the lip of the sleek sliding door pulling it open to a satisfying lock.

Inside there was no one to greet them, the place looked half way between a garage and a hospital, plenty of walk space but also a number of rooms dotted along numbered to ****.

Its a big place, anything could in here.
