Lauren gets scolded by Jennifer

“Ladies, gentlemen, and coworkers. Lauren here has been hard at work to make art for us for our office,” Jennifer said. “And this is the result of about an hour’s work.”

Jennifer held up the scribbled works with crayon going out of the lines, barely colored. It truly looked like a child had colored them. Lauren wanted to protest and say that she had worked hard on the other pages and that she had spent meticulous time making sure that the coloring pages were done well. But with the evidence that Jennifer was showing to everyone and Lauren’s desperation to get done, she kept her mouth shut knowing that no one would believe her anyways.

“Lauren, what is this?!” Jennifer yelled. “There’s barely any effort! I could have given this to a toddler and it would’ve been better than this!”

“I…I tried my best,” Lauren whimpered which caused a chorus of laughter.

“This?! This is your BEST work?!” Jennifer yelled. “Lauren, why don’t you explain to everyone how this is your best effort?!”

Lauren whimpered as she shook her head, her hands holding her crotch in desperation, her arms shaking, and she couldn't help the tears that were forming as she was humiliated in front of everyone.
