Jennifer and Lauren in the office

Inside her office Lauren struggled to catch her breath.

"Nice outfit!"

Lauren looked up to see Jennifer sitting at her desk. That's right: Lauren had almost forgotten. Jennifer had been given Lauren's job, and Lauren demoted to her former assistant's secretary!

"I'm glad your finally dressing your age." Jennifer laughed. Lauren, recalling her outfit and smoothed down her skirt, hurrying to the smaller desk where she now resided.

"There's some paperwork for you to start on your desk." Jennifer waved dismissively. Lauren looked. There was a mountain of paperwork on the desk. It looked like Jennifer was sticking her with all the real work. Nevermind that was exactly what Lauren used to do when Jennifer had worked for her...
