Shopping adventure

After breakfast and a a quick shower, the three of you get into the car again. Mazzy joins Ellie in the back seat again, and spends the whole drive in a whispered conversation. Ellie spends most of it blushing and nodding, leaving you very curious. When you arrive at the store, Mazzy takes your hand as usual, and Ellie surprises you by shyly slipping her hand into yours as well. A glance shows you that she’s smiling slightly, and you give her hand a gentle squeeze. With one girl on each side of you, you smile widely as you walk inside.

Ellie gasps as you walk in. “S-so many clothes! A-and I can pick anything?”

You nod. “Of course. You deserve some nice clothes, Ellie. Mazzy can help you pick them out.”

Mazzy giggles. “C’mon! I’ll show you the good stuff. Dakota came here with me the other day!”

And they’re off, Mazzy practically dragging her goblin friend through the store. Amused, you follow them, not paying particular attention to what they’re picking out. You look around as you follow them, and definitely notice more people looking at you askance than when it was just Mazzy. Ellie is definitely much more obviously not human, and having two girls with you doesn’t help things.

Mostly, people just stare and move on, occasionally muttering to themselves. One group of teens points and talks amongst themselves, but they don’t confront you. You can see definite disgust on a few faces, though. Eventually, Ellie and Mazzy are both loaded down with clothes, and you follow them to a changing room.

You sit down to wait as they go in, Mazzy giggling and Ellie smiling. As you wait, you see another person, clearly torn as to wether or not to say something to you. Finally, he walks over, and shakes his head at you.

“It’s disgusting that they let you bring those animals in here. Keep your perversion at home.”

You sigh. “Your opinion is noted. Thanks.”

It looks like the man wants to say something more, but Mazzy and Ellie come out just then, and he walks away. Mazzy definitely notices, but ignores him. “Look! Isn’t she adorable?!”

Ellie blushes, wearing a light, floral print dress. You nod. “Lovely. You’re beautiful, Ellie.”

Ellie blushes even more. “Th-thank you, Brian…”

Before any more can be said, Mazzy drags the little goblin back into the changing room. The cycle continues several times, and Ellie never stops blushing at the compliments you shower on her. Eventually, they finish, and Mazzy hands you a stack of clothes.

“These are the winners! There’s a couple surprises in there, so no peeking!”

You chuckle. “Fair enough. We all set then?”

Before anyone can answer, Ellie steps closer and kisses your cheek. “I c-can’t thank you enough…”

Blushing furiously, she hurriedly steps back, hiding behind Mazzy. The halfling giggles. “I think we’re done! Let’s go home!”

You wonder a bit at her hurry, but shrug it off. You take them to pay for the clothes, and head back to the car. Both girls are smiling again, and they whisper back an forth the whole trip once again. This time, though, there’s a lot of glances your way.

They’re definitely plotting something.

When you get home, they both vanish into the bedroom, telling you to wait for them. You sit down, curious as to what’s happening. After a short wait, Mazzy comes bouncing over, giggling.

“I’m going to make lunch! Ellie wants to talk to you, Brian!”

You nod, walking towards the bedroom, and Mazzy giggles again as you go.
