Life at FUTA goes on.

Some of the girls are really into it, and you can’t blame them. This show offers them fame and fortune. You certainly don’t mind the fortune part… it’s a nice perk for this assignment. It’s not the kind of money that you can buy mansions with, but it’s still really nice.

But you don’t care about the rest. Soccer is not very interesting to you; you have figured out how you can play optimally without training all day every day. You could be better, but you are good enough to play your part. Practice and practice matches are boring. Only the real, weekly showdown matches are interesting… and those only happen once a week.

The only interesting thing that you saw this entire week was Annette, who is one of the primary suspects in the case, talking to a pretty woman in a sexy red dress, and a tall, red-haired woman with some kind of eye injury or something.

You reported it to Eliza. Did she report it to the police girls from Raccoon City? You don’t know.

All you know is that it’s been a long weak, you’re tired and sore, and it’s time for some games. You get your tablet out, but Grace is here. She’s not even on your team, but now that you’re a few weeks into FUTA, nobody really cares about spying stuff. Plenty of girls have friends on other teams. It’s not weird to talk to each other in your cabins.

Grace walks up with a backpack and dumps it on the bed.

“You weren’t going to start without me, were you?” she asks, adjusting her round glasses.

You were.

“No,” you lie in your terrible English, unconvincingly.

“Really? You were going to play on that?” she asks.

Well… your tablet is a bit more convenient than your laptop.

“Yes…” you say hesitantly.

“Uh uh.” She opens her backpack, revealing VR headsets. “We’re supposed to be high-tech, Monika.”

“We are,” you say defensively. You have a gizmo that can see through walls. She has a gizmo that can call cell phones without knowing the numbers. You’re super high-tech.

“What?” you say.

Grace is in the act of putting a VR headset on you.

“Nothing,” she says, pushing your blonde hair out of the way. “You’re just very cute,” she says.

“Thank you,” you reply distractedly, taking over and settling the VR headset into place. You have always wanted to mess with one of these. It was nice of her to bring them over. You jack in and start up the game. As it’s calibrating, you feel Grace scoot onto the bed and get comfortable beside you. The noise of the cabin fades away as the game loads up.

Star Trek, huh? You don’t know much about it, but you have seen the odd episode here and there. Time to see what it’s all about. What’s the horny edition going to look like?
