No and everyone finally gets together.

An five hours later having pulled in to the rest stop to wait for Dava and her crew to arrive, Brittany had already informed the Sheriff how far you had gotten and that every single road block and check point was either gone or abandoned. which even you had been shocked to find numbered in the tens the last one had made it a staggering twenty road blocks, and a further dozen signs of check points.

The difference is the road blocks had been built using the rails that divided the highways watch towers a lot of prefab stuff the military uses to set up quick camps, the check points had just been department of works vehicles and a few tents of to the side of the road a few miles from the road blocks to turn warn off people without the right paperwork.

Having already been decided to have the evening meal the ladies are going about doing that while you and a few of the others check the area out for anything, trouble, useful stuff and info in general. Not been sure if it is a good thing or bad thing you find no trouble, nothing of note in any of the builds other then the water and power is still on, nor any sort of info that might be useful. All the notice boards have posters from the Government or military informing people of the new/old travel restrictions.

Before long Dava's RV and van pull into the parking area of the rest stop and everyone of them gets out and stretches as they have been on the road for a long time now. Dava comes over with her daughter following by her side and you have to admit she is a mini me to her mother as somehow she even has the air of authority walk Dava has. Once introductions are done Dava joins you, Brittany, Angie, Holly and Donna in Angie's RV to talk and plan. "Right ladies we have to make a choice now do we plan a route that includes a lot of pit stops or do we hit the road and only stop when absolutely needed".

Everyone thinks hard on it as it is a big deal if this was before you would have said and everyone would have agreed to just drive and only stop to change drivers once or twice a day and to hand out food. You would have slept on the road done everything on the road but now the number of people and the number of vehicles you are using is off. Holly points that out quickly, " we cannot go with the original plan we have too many vehicles to form a rota now, as much as I want to full send it to your Uncles place we are going to have to stop at least once a day to rest but I offer a compromise, we stop during the middle of the day and drive like mad at night ".

Thinking that over you can see the plus to that and the minus for sure it is safer from the freaks and monster men to be on the move during the night. But you do not know how the roads are going to be later on and running up on something in the dark is going to be bad new if you do. In the end everyone votes for the night run but Dava makes a few changes to the layout how things will move by having the Draco do recon but at night a SUV will follow along with them to help out if the shit hits the fan and the rest of the group will hang back further then during the day.

She also moves some people around to balance out the vehicles, which is not surprising as even she was a little surprised by the number of people in the group. You of course have Brittany and her daughters, Dillion, Brook and Rilynn using two SUV's, then their is Antonia, Holly and Jessica driving the 4X4's as it turns out Antonia used to drive rally cars of all things. Angie, Donna and Teagan are ridding in Angie's RV, Stella and Lilly are in separate SUV's with Rachel in the **** van with Gabriela. Finally you have Paige, Dava and her daughter in their RV with you in the Draco for now.
