The four women make their way carefully to the lantern, which it turns out is in fact a lantern, the leather wings are watching, but make no attempt to attack. The four women enter the path illuminated by the lantern and find a small cavern. There are large crystals illuminating the area and patches of various herbs. Goma sets to gathering the herbs as Cherchiel, Isalia and Yulia sit on some surprisingly comfortable rock formations and watch.

"So... How'd you get so good at finding and disarming traps?" Yulia asks idly.

"Oh well... It's kind of a... depressing story," Isalia says looking nervous.

"Ah... I'm sorry I didn't mean too-" Yulia starts to apologize.

I don't know where I was, it was nowhere in the Deep that I recognized. It was a maze and it was filled with traps. None that were lethal, but... They did horrible things to me. I spent I don't know how long there, but I slowly, out of desperation, got better at spotting his traps. Eventually I was a master at it and I managed to make my way out. I appeared, naked, defiled, malnourished, dehydrated and exhausted. I was taken care of and recovered and recounted what happened to me," she explains.

"Oh... That... It sounds like that was horrible," Yulia sympathizes.

"It was... The explorers were having issues with Knocker placing traps that hurt, killed or otherwise got in the way of their expeditions and eventually out of desperation they came to me. I refused at first, not wanting to ever see another of his traps again, but eventually I changed my mind. This was the way I could hurt him. To avenge myself on him, by ruining his little games. Eventually I just became the official trap remover..." she adds.

The group get up and move to head back out and the moment they exit back into the Leather Wing cave a bloodcurdling screech fills the air as the Leather Wings apparently decided that ambushing them when they came back out was the best plan. Three of the large bat creatures descend towards them.
