Summer Heat.

Steph was roasting.

It was July in Haven and that equalled blistering heat and a radio station that didn't have AC!

She wiped the sweat from her head and put on another song. The ad for the ice cream store was now in her mind.

"Alex and I are definitely going there after work."

Alex everytime she thought of the girl in glasses she smiled. She stayed in Haven for her and didn't regret it.

Until it reached 100 degrees!

"Fuck." She turned on the fan. This was ridiculous.

The store was empty because normal people stayed inside their nice cold houses when the sun was trying to kill them.

Alex was helping Ryan at the bar so it was just her.

Just her....

She looked down at her soaked shirt and shorts.

'Maybe I could let some air in? What the fuck am I thinking?! If someone came in they would see me!'

But it was so fucking hot!
