An Intruder

Right after I finished taking a dump, just when I was washing my hands, someone entered the male toilet. Now of course I'm surprised, because in this building, I am the only one who used this side of the toilet after all. I'm even more surprised to find that the one who entered is my childhood friend, Ayase Eli.

Eli wastes no time as she pushed me and pinned me into a wall, blocking my left and right side with her arms. She looked at me dead in the eye.

"A-Ayase?"

Eli pouted. She moved closer towards me, even pushing her chest nearer.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing... I'm just pissed."

"About what?" I gulped, having an idea what she's talking about.

"You and Honoka. I don't really understand the feelings much myself." Eli slowly let off her arms and in the end, I'm not pinned anymore and Eli moved away from me. She put on a wry smile towards me, "Sorry. I don't know what came over me. Excuse me." Eli walked towards the exit before I stopped her by grabbing her arm.

"Look, I... don't like you putting on that smile. Just tell me what's wrong, I'll listen to you."

Eli is my childhood friend. I know when something's troubling her, so I immediately noticed. However, I don't want her to keep hiding her feelings to herself.

"Then call me Eli... Like you used to."

That's right. I used to call her by her first name. Perhaps Honoka's first-name basis bothered her more than I thought.

"All right, Eli."

Eli then blushed and hid her face by burying it into my chest. "Masaki."

"I love you." Eli said, her voice muffled by my chest.

"Hm?!"

What?

"Wait, hold on. Since when?!"

"Long time ago, really. Even before I moved out. I used to think it was just some childhood crush and nothing will come out of it, but after meeting you again and seeing how hard you worked for our sake, it just dawned on me that I really love you." Eli explained everything with a pink blush on her face, she then looked at me with puppy eyes. "Can I love you?"

I was taken aback, obviously.

"W-Well, I guess you can." I scratched my cheeks in embarassment.

"Then... I want to do what you and Honoka did."

"Hm?!"

What?

"How did you--?!"

"Call it a woman's intuition. I still can't believe that girl get to you before I did... And to be honest, I'm EXTREMELY jealous." Eli said to me, emphasizing her feelings. She then closed up the distance between her face and mine, before eventually we kissed each other.
