coming up with a plan

You don't answer Cammie, instead thinking about your next move. "What if we stay here for a little longer? Just an hour or two. I could use some more rest before we hit the road."

Your proposal is met by mixed responses, Alexis doesn't feel it's a good idea to stay put too long in a place like this. On the other hand Cammie is completely fine with it, she says she's still tired and heads to the back to take a nap. And Chloe is right in the middle, she just seems like she'll go with whatever you guys choose.

You shrug your shoulders at Alexis after Cammie walks past. "I'm sure it'll be fine, we haven't even seen any bimbos right?"

"Actually yeah, we have." You sit there stunned hearing this suddenly. "That one we killed last night, if there was one here why can't there be more? We really shouldn't be sitting here twiddling our thumbs while more and more people get infected."

Oh... "Well what could we do? it's not like we have a cure or something."

"We could get into a better situation than this place. I doubt this thing is global yet, remember hearing about it on the news the day before we were hit? Maybe if we act fast enough we can get somewhere safer."

That... Actually makes a lot of sense. "Alright, this could be our last moment of quiet for a while though, so let's wait another half hour or so at least."

Alexis rolls her eyes. "Whatever, everything's already packed and ready so just let me know when you've woken sleeping beauty from her nap and you're all ready to go." She says as she walks around the building and out of sight.

"What's up with her?" Chloe asks.

"Nothing, she's always like that..."

You and Chloe end up finding a deck of cards and you spend the next little bit teaching her how to play Go Fish, you're pretty sure she's just pretending she doesn't understand to get closer to you, but you don't say anything.

The half hour you set for yourselves goes by pretty fast. It wasn't the longest break, but you feel like it helped. You head into the back and wake Cammie up, she leaves and heads to the car, leaving you to look around the place to make sure you're not missing anything. Apparently Alexis spent some time earlier grabbing anything that could be useful.

On your way out you notice a box of condoms lying out on the counter, you look out at the girls waiting in the car before grabbing it and stashing it in your pocket.
