the trial run

"Um...would you girls excuse us for a tick?" I ask in the direction of Raven and Starfire. "S-sure..." Jinx and I zip of to the kitchen. Jinx grabs me by the shirt. "WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO NOW!!?" I give out a huff and pick her up. Putting her on the counter I touch my forehead with hers.

"Calm down littleone, we gotta think this one out here." She lets go. "W-what do you mean Johnny?" She starts to poke her indexfingers together. "Phoo... The way I see it we're out gunned here babe, even WITH your powers theres two of them and only one of you. Theyd clobber us." Jinx looks up at me with a conserned look. "Wait a second Johnny! What do you mean there's only one of us, what about you?"

I pull my fingers through my hair. "Jinxie...think for a second, I would gladly throw down in a fight with you but I wouldnt last six seconds with those two...(Time to play along with the story) By the looks of it we got clobbered REAL quickly the last time, BUT..." Jinx cocks her head in confusion. "But? But what?" I give her forehead a quick kiss. "Like I was saying, But chance to an inopertune accident we got a lucky break here."

"We got a chance to turn two of the Titans heavy hitters to OUR side!" Jinx's eyes grow huge and she puts her hands infront of her face. "Johnny....THAT'S BRILLIANT!!!" She gives me a playfull slap on the chest. "We'd be unstoppable with those two!! She leaps at me throughing her arms around my neck squeezeing me in a loveing hug. "You know what?" I chuckle abit "What's that littleone?"

"You're the BEST think that's ever happened to me baby!" She coo's as she nuzzles my chin with her head. "Heh...right back at you." after a few blissfull moments of cuddleing and afew light kisses we break apart. "Comeon we gotta break the news to our new tennets."

Jinx hops down and runs up behind me. "What cha gunna tell them Johnny?" I stop for a second to think. "Well....I think we'll give them a....Trial run."

A ittle later

"Ok you two, you get the jist of all this?" Star looks to Raven for a moment and Raven scrunches up her face. "Hngggh....fine, we agree to this 'Trail Run' of yours. After all we have our pride as heros to maintain, not to mention the fact we have to make sure SHE (points to Jinx) does'nt lead you down the wrong path!" I roll my eyes at the last remark. (Wrong path....oi...)

"Ok then your first test will be dinner tonight, and before you say anything I'll be cooking. But bonse points could be awarded to those whom help me." Starfire raises her hand. "Yes Star? You had a question?" "Friend John, you speak of points? Is there a reward for the one whom accuires more of the points then the other two girls?"

"Hmm...rewards huh? Well I dont see why not, but Star why did you say the other TWO girls?" She gives me a rather cute smile. "Because friend Jinx will be playing as well....right?" Raven hops abit in her seat. "Hey yeah, Star's got a point! SHE'S gotta play two, or it wont be fair!" I look back to Jinx whom is scowling at Raven. "Sorry littleone, but she does have a point."

She gives me a dirty look. "Please...for me?" I place my hand on her shoulder and smile warmly. "...Well...ok..But ONLY because you asked Johnny. NOT because SHE wants it!" Jinx and Raven shoot Daggers at eachother. I just run my fingers through my hair. (Fuck...somehow I have to break this rivalry of theres..)
