A small test

Wally luckily had an opportunity to test the ray on one of his crushes. He had recently been assigned to do a project with Cordelia, and that meant a good opportunity for a small test of the ray.

He met Cordelia at their designated meetup spot, where she was leaning against the wall looking rather bored.

"Hey, Cordelia," Wally said.

"Hey," Cordelia said. "Listen, not to be rude, but I only agreed to partner with you because I need an A. This doesn't make us friends."

Wally discreetly zapped her with the ray, then decided to press his luck.

"You've always wanted to be friends with me, Cordelia," Wally said. "This project is a chance for us to get to know each other."

Instantly her demeanor changed.

"Of course Wally!" Cordelia said in a much happier voice. "Let's get to work!"

Now that Wally knew the ray worked, he was ready to get more...intimate with Cordelia
