The Audition

The next day Daisy is already gone by the time that you wake up. She sent you a text saying she had to get going and would see you later. You realized that the audition was only in an hour so you got ready, practiced a bit more and went on your way to the audition. You wondered if Emma Stone was going to be there, or if it would just be the casting team. You got off of the subway and headed into the building and followed it into a reception room where the casting was taking place. Sizing up the competition, there was no one there you recognized. So you had no idea whether you had a true shot at the part.

You spent over an hour waiting your turn and then you were eventually called in. Unfortunately Emma Stone was not present for this audition. You went through the audition process and everything seemed to go really well. You thought that absolutely nailed the audition. You could tell the casting people liked it a lot by their facial expressions. You thought you heard them say "perfect" once or twice. After a couple minutes of them conversing one of them says "Congratulations John, we want to offer you the part of Flint. We'll send over an official offer with the salary and all the details to your agent later today." said one of the casting people.

"That's amazing. Thank you so much," you respond, giddy at being offered this role.

"I'm assuming your agent told you, but you will be required to do a fully nude scene for this movie. We just want to make sure that you're okay with that," he said. That took you by surprise a bit. Mike hadn't told you that you would have to be naked in a scene in this movie, but at this point it didn't matter. It seemed like a great role and who cares if a bunch of people saw your penis. You were proud of your body. Hopefully Emma Stone would also be nude for a scene as well.

"Uh, yeah that's okay with me," you respond.

"Great! We start filming next week, we film here in L.A, but we want all of our cast members to be moved into a hotel right by the set. We have rooms rented out for the whole 6 week shoot," he said.

"That's great, I'm ready to move in whenever. I'm so excited for this opportunity. I won't let you down," you say.

You get out of the office and do a little fist pump to yourself. You try to call Daisy to tell her the good news, but she didn't pick up. You sent her a text message instead to tell her you got it, as well as sending one to Emma Watson as well.

Soon after you got a message from your agent Mike saying "Congratulations on your audition. We've just received the contract, I'm sending it over to you now. Everything contractually looks good. It says that you will be paid $50,000 for this role, along with 1% of the profits that the film makes. Does that sound good to you?"

"Works for me, send it over and I'll sign," you reply. You get the email shortly after and you signed, officially booking your first starring role in a movie.
