Kazex watched curiously as the cloaked figure held a strange slab of stone against the side of its head and started talking to it.

“Dude! Shut the fuck up for a minute and just listen!” Ozokar screamed at the stone slab. Get a transport team down on my location. ASAP! I found the motherlode! What??! No I’m not high, dumbass! I found… I found…”

Ozokar turned away from the slab of stone and glanced at Kazex. “How many roots did you say you have again?” He asked.

“Ten…” replied Kazex.

“Over ten thousand roots!” Ozokar yelled into the stone slab. “Fucking send in a squad of hauler beasts. And strap all the females down back there. We’re going to be pounding those cloacas into the next millennium! I call dibs on your sister Liranzel!”

Ozokar shoved the stone slab back under his robes and rubbed his black taloned hands together eagerly. “Now then, master Kazex. I’m sure you must be anxious to receive your rewards.”

“Yesss?” Kazex replied.

“Feel free to tell me your wildest dreams and leave the price tally calculations to me.”

Kazex rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Kazex wants three things. Firstly, Kazex wants to be safe, long-life and healthy. Secondly, Kazex want to fark females. Allz the females. Thirdlies, Kazex wants to be greatest leaderz. Kazex wants to rule over all!”

Ozokar rubbed his hands together again. “All perfectly doable, master Kazex. It shall be done.”

Ozokar then approached Kazex and pointed a black taloned finger at the goblin’s forehead. “For your first wish, I shall make your body nigh indestructible. You shall be able to regenerate and heal from even the most grievous of wounds and stave off **** in most instances. You will be immune to diseases, toxins, and highly resistant to all forms of damage, be it elemental, spiritual, or physical. You will have the keenest of minds, impervious to external meddling. While I am unable to grant you immortality, due to the constraints of this world, I shall extend your lifespan to nine thousand years. Furthermore, you shall be able to suspend your time by going into hibernation.”

Kazex scratched his head. “Why Kazex wants to go to sleep?”

“Ah, little one. You underestimate the toll that a long life will bring upon your psyche. The flame that is your zest for life will eventually fade and you will find yourself unable to appreciate anything the world has to offer. When that time comes, you may go to sleep for several hundred years and you shall find that your zeal to keep on living have been fully restored.”

“Hmmm, okaz.”

“As per your second wish, you shall be an apex breeder. You shall have virtually unlimited stamina and seed, that you may mate frequently to your fill. Should you desire to mate, you will secrete powerful pheromones which will make you most agreeable to the females of your realm. Your seed also has the ability to subjugate the females that you mate with, and you will hold great influence over them. Furthermore, your sires will be many and healthy. They will mature quickly and will be several times mightier than your fellow kind. They will also have great reverence for you as their source, and will possess undying loyalty towards you.”

“Yes… Yessss…” Kazex replied.

“And lastly,” Ozokar added, “In accordance with your final wish, you shall be a uniquely charismatic leader. Your followers will find themselves possessed by a great unbreakable morale, perfect synergy, and increased capabilities. You will easily be able to form armies and rally support to your cause, whatever it may be. Your words will carry the utmost weight to the ears of any creature and your presence will inspire awe, love, and submission. They will feel a compulsion to be ruled over and to be bound in servitude by you. With this, being a king or even an emperor is a mere child’s play. If you play your cards right, you may even be revered as a god in the forseeable future.”

“Kazex thanks yous, great dragon. With this, Kazex is satisfied.”

Ozokar chuckled deeply. “I am not done, little one. For even after all those blessings, we still owe you much. Allow me to bestow upon you a couple more additional blessings to balance the scales.”

Kazex stroked his chin contemplatively. “Okaz,” he said.”

“Your already potent seed shall further be fortified by blessings that benefits your mate. It will stave off the effects of aging and keep them in prime physical shape, and attractiveness, always ripe and inviting for breeding.”

“Oooooh… Dat iz good. Kazex never thinks of that.”

“Finally, I shall bestow upon you the ability to summon beings of other realms and dimensions to your aid. This privilege has never been bestowed outside the Ular race, but your contributions are so significant, I see no other way to keep our side of the bargain. This ability is now yours to use.”

“That iz interesting.” said Kazex.

“With that, I conclude our exchange, little one. Rejoice, for you would now be the most powerful being this realm has ever had to come to reckon with.”
