Chapter 13 by MoreCasualWritingAccount MoreCasualWritingAccount

Are we getting home now?

Let's go see Mama

A/N: Wanna make sure y'all know that I'm always interested in your feedback, ideas, suggestions, etc. It's more fun for me, and hopefully more fun for you all if you get some input. Let me know if you have ideas for more girls (and/or boys?) to include, or thoughts on what you'd like to see happen. Hope you're enjoying the story!

Jason is content. He's managed to turn his assistant into a teasing slut, and he's excited to watch her rub it in his face every day. He'd love to stay with her all day and watch her, however he is even more excited to see his wife.Getting home, though, he realizes he doesn't hear a thing. The lights are all off and there's no conversation or shouting. No one in the kitchen cooking. Jason checks his phone to find no messages so he decides to text his daughter.

Well that's interesting. Let's see how this plays out. Jason goes to the kitchen to get dinner ready. "Do I know how to make braised short ribs?" he asks out loud to himself. He'd never been much for cooking, but knew a little about a kitchen. He worked at Arby's in high school, after all. He thinks through the mental recipe, impressed by how thorough his new knowledge is. He doesn't have to read the recipe Willow had, hand written by the stove and ready for her. He knows it by heart, and previously he didn't even know what braising was. Along the process he realizes this could take up to 4 hours, on top of the time it takes his mediocre chopping skills so he asks "will this be done cooking in under an hour?" He helps himself to a nice big glass of the wine that didn't go in the dutch oven.

Jason is doing dishes while the dish bakes, annoyed at how many dishes the meal makes. Normally it's his and Dina's job (damn other kids growing up. Used to be all their jobs) to do the dishes, but there usually isn't this many. He wonders if Willow uses down time to make their job easier. He hears the door open. "Hey guys," he shouts. "Dinner's almost ready. Relax and I'll bring it out." He gets a couple grunts in response. He'll have to tread carefully. He brings Willow a similar big glass full of wine and 'no' Dina doesn't get some.

20 minutes later and Jason brings out three plates, the smell of the juicy beef and veggies spreading through the house. He takes his usual spot at the table. "Hope it's good," he says. Again, grunts. Willow's wine is half gone.

"So... can I ask?"

"Go ahead," Willow dares him.

"What happened and why are you in trouble?" Jason is too curious not to ask.

Willow motions toward her outfit. "Apparently this isn't 'school appropriate.' Which isn't fair. You've seen Sheryl." Sheryl being the newest gym teacher. Jason certainly had, but would deny that he looked at her most of the time. She tended to dress as though she was getting ready for a run in the summer, all year. He'd heard his son Steven lament that he had never been in her class.

"I've always wondered how she got away with that. So is there any real trouble?"

"No, I just got chewed out for a good hour on decency and morals. Mr. Walsh couldn't do anything for real since I'm technically within the dress code." Mr. Walsh, the vice principal, is a sniveling little man who always makes Jason uncomfortable. Even trying to charm staff, he always seemed like he was ready for a power trip. Jason likes his wife, though, and doesn't understand how the man could land such a pleasant lady.

"About time Mr. Walsh went after someone besides me in this family," Dina remarks. Jason shushes her.

"Anyway, I'm not to dress this way again," Willow sighs. Shit, Jason can't have this. There's got to be a way to turn this around.
