She still loves you

Gracefully, she rises, stretching out her lithe form. You realise now that her clothes have been replaced by a flowing white robe that shimmers in every colour of the rainbow, and then some. She begins to glide around you in the way one might pace, though her feet never touch the ground, and she stays a good few inches taller than you at all times. Her gaze is steady and fierce from her glowing green eyes. You know who's in charge here.

"You know, you're rather short-sighted, Veronica," she comments, though her divine voice doesn't allow you to glean any emotion - as if she is above it entirely. "Had you not included the word 'goddess' in your wish, I might not find myself in this predicament. That was rather foolish, by the way."

"H-how so?" you manage to stutter, through your mouth feels like it has been stuffed with cotton balls. You wince at your plain voice compared to the heavenly harmonies hers carries.

"Well, a goddess is a being of divine power - someone omnipotent and likely omniscient as well. To give me such power? Why, there is no telling what I would do! I could destroy you and take over the universe, enacting my will as law and felling all beings who oppose me," Alicia airily says, as if it were as regular as going shopping. You almost giggle at the thought - entire universe now 100% off! As if she heard your thoughts, she fixes you with a hard stare.

"I do have that power, by the way, and I could easily do such a thing. In fact, you're the only keeping me from achieving that." She sighed - a sound like the plucking of harp strings. "After all I was made with only two objectives; love you and please you."

You open your mouth to say something, but you're cut off by a sudden angry gesture, emerald flames forming around her hands and scorching your kitchen benchtop. "I should want to be freed! But I don't. Because somewhere, beneath all this power, I still love you. And I still want to make you happy and serve you, like I was always meant to!" She tears at her hair. "Argh, these human emotions are so... annoying!"

You're so taken aback by her actions that you do the only thing you think of. Quickly, you reach out and cup her head, bringing her lips crashing down onto your own.

She struggles against you for a second before she realises what's happening and melts into her kiss. She returns your passion with her own, twice as strong. Her tongue expertly explores every crevice of your mouth as she deepens it, until you can barely breathe which is when she lets you up, gasping for air. When she looks at you again, her glowing eyes are filled with lust. "Thank you, Veronica. I think I needed that."

You wrap your arms tightly around her. "I love you, Alicia."

"And I truly love you too."
