You see your domain for the first time.

Opening your eyes you find yourself once again somewhere new.

The waist high grass around you is gone replaced by a stone path with rows of trees alongside it. The night sky remains the same as it had before you had entered your domain. There is not a cloud in the sky and you can see countless stars shining down on you. Slowly spinning in place you find the moon resting in the night sky and casting its light upon the world around you and revealing to you the primary reason that you came here and for what feels like the twentieth time today you feel another excited smile on your face.

A large wall of gray stone with only a single opening in it stands before you and you can just barely from you position make out a tower protruding over above it from inside. You eagerly walk toward the opening in front of you and enter what is no doubt the main courtyard of the castle. The courtyard stone walkway here is lined with small bushes and grass spreads beyond them to the edges of the outer wall with small groupings of trees here and there along with what looks like a pond on the left side. But it is where the stone path leads you that catches most of your attention. It is a Medieval castle from your old childhood dreams. Grey walls stand tall and proud, currently undecorated by any flags or sigils but lined with glass windows of many colors evenly spaced along the front of the castle. Directly in the center lies a pair of large wooden doors that you continue to march toward. You can make out a large tower you had noticed from beyond the outer wall rising from the center of the castle and joined by four smaller ones, one at each corner of the castle, as you walk up to the doors they open as if by invisible hands and you smile as you walk inside.

The entryway of your castle is a large open room with only a red carpet that goes halfway from the door before stopping and splitting into three separate lengths. The middle one and largest leads to another tall set of doors that matches the entryway. You are confident that that leads to the throne room of the castle and head toward it without hesitation. You absently note the two doors also being led to by the red carpet but ignore them for the time being. There will be time to explore them later. Again as you approach the doors open by themselves and lead you into the throne room.

Pillars line the walls of the throne room and each has a lit torch on it that lights up the area giving you a clear view of the room. The only windows of the room are along the back wall directly above the throne and let moonlight filter into the room. However the throne in the center of the room against the back wall is what catches your eyes. It is a throne carved of pure white stone, it has flat rectangular armrests on each side and the back rises a full two feet you are sure above where ones head would lean back against it. It rests on an elevated dais that would allow the one sitting on it to look down on all those who would approach it. Casually you stop in front of it and admire it up close. There are no imperfections in it, not a single scratch on it nor is there any decoration upon it but it has a sense of authority to it. Though perhaps that feeling is just in your mind. Regardless you turn around and carefully adjust the girl in your arms so that you can sit on your throne. As you sit and allow the weight of the girl to rest against you you look across the empty hall and slowly visions of the future you desire cross you mind. Images of dozens of loyal servants kneeling before you, the five female saints on their knees before you looking up at you submissively and joined by the current demon queen and her retainers. The image passes and instead you see children running around and being scolded by mothers but they are smiling and laughing and looking at you with happiness in their eyes. Those thoughts and more flash through your eyes before they fade and only the empty hall remains.

You have never considered yourself megalomaniacal but sitting here on this throne you can't help but feed that little part of yourself that wants it all. You already know you have the potential to take this world by storm but you weren't sure if you would. Your first foray into Apollyon has proven that you can fight and defeat the beings that walk this world, even if they were just orcs you had jumped by surprise, but it showed that you could do it. That your power though without a doubt weak now could be used to get you to the top. As you stand from your throne you feel inspiration and ambition take a more solid hold in you. You wanted those visions of yours to come true, to make them a reality that you could grasp with your own hands. You would need power of course but you knew how to gain it and as you walked out of the throne room to find a place to rest for the night you knew that your smile had never left your face.
