“Shepard, I…” the blue asari stopped in her tracks as her eyes went from Miranda to Jane and then back to Miranda. “Oh…”

Jane looked confused as Liara turned away, her face burned red. “Is there something wrong?” Jane asked.

“No,” Liara said quickly, folding her arms over her chest. “What you do on your personal time is your business.”

“O…kay,” Jane said. “So why are you here?”

Liara felt immense jealousy as she said. “Nothing, just forget it. I can see you’re busy.”

“Liara…” Jane said.

“Just forget it,” Liara said as she walked back to the elevator.

Jane looked at Miranda. “What was that about?”

Miranda debated whether to point out the obvious feelings Liara had for Jane or to just resume what she was doing before.
