She clicked Miranda’s name and smiled as she replied back almost immediately with a yes. It was strange that Jane didn’t recognize her feelings before, but somehow having her back on the Normandy had her awaken a new feeling for Miranda.

Maybe it was the fact that all their important missions were done now and now Jane could relax or maybe Miranda just knew how to push the right buttons to break down the walls of the great Commander Shepard. The same woman known for being the most ruthless leader in the galaxy, making the tough calls no one else would.

Her eyes widened as she looked to the elevator doors as they began to open.
