Yes, unconditional surrender

You heard her words over Ishtar's giggling inside your mind. Looking into her eyes you could see fear. She was terrified. Of you. Of the monster that lived inside you, that you rarely allowed to get out. You closed your eyes and counted to three, folding your weapon back to the bracelet form.

After taking a deep breath, you got off from her, and returned to the ground, almost certain that she won't try anything funny. She looked too terrified to do that.

With one sister still trying to catch breath after a rough face fucking, and the other knocked out, Thea, carefully got herself up. She looked battered, there were several bruises on her body, most notably around the area where normal humanoid creature would have the stomach. The massive claws were no longer visible, and the joint torso rested on the ground. It was clear that she could not control it on her own, probably needed the help of other heads, which was probably the main reason why you stood chance in this duel.

Looks like she got fucked after all.

You ignored Ishtar's comment and listened to Thea.

"I am... We are satisfied, young warrior. Can I know your name?"

"I'm David." You responded, some of the anger still emanating in your voice.

"O-okay... I just wanted to thank you for holding yourself back. And warn you."

Oh, that's going to be rich.

"About what?" You asked.

"This thing... The anger. Whatever is fueling it, you need to keep it buried deep." She began to explain. "Otherwise it will consume you, turn you into a beast."

"Not sure what you mean..." You answered, scrathing your head. The sudden light breeze made you feel cold.

"You bear one of the greatest weapons in existence. But it's changing you. Shifting you into it's image. Just... Watch out, warrior."

The area around started to collapse, the head of the hydra became blurry, and you felt like you are standing on a pile of sand, your feet sinking into it. But you didn't feel bad or threatened. It almost felt safe, like looking around at the world through the ripples of water.

"Da-vid?" You heard a distant echo of a voice. Someone familiar, someone trying to find you. "We have some t-techniiiical difficulties." You could hear the voice like through and old, lagging radio, the sound was distorted "We wi-wi-wi-will pull you as soon as possib-le."

You just shrugged. Whatever was happening around, you couldn't help it, you couldn't control it, and it sounded like someone was already on the case. So why not rest and let someone else deal with things, for once? Especially that you needed to have a conversation with someone.

"Is it true?" You asked Ishtar.

I don't know. Maybe?... Yes. All three answers are the truth.

You crossed your arms on your chest. The world around dropped down, and you were now standing in the black void. The only light emanated from your bracelet.

"Okay, can you actually explain so I can understand what you mean?"

I don't have a fully developed knowledge of the bond we are sharing right now. I've looked into the depths of your soul and memories, I've seen things that weren't meant for my eyes. But not only that. I felt them. I was there, I was you in every situation that you remember. I know your happiness, and pleasures, hobbies and dislikes, kinks and boundaries. I lived through your best moments, and the worst ones. I know you better than you could ever imagine, you are not just an open book for me that I can read whenever I want. Your memories intertwined themselves with mine. It's like I lived that extra life. Your life.

You bit your lip, listening to her answer, trying to understand it. If she was telling the truth, then you were changing her just as she was changing you.

Of course, you pick up on my skills as well. On my passions, desires. My will. I can't do anything about it, as long as we are together. You won the fight against the hydra only because your body was instinctively picking up on my reactions and fusing them with your intention. I'm afraid we might have become a fucking amazing killing machine.

You closed your eyes, trying to wrap your head around it. Ishtar tactfully fell silent. It was true, you had no idea how you won. And the longer you thought about it, the more you had to admit that if it weren't for that bracelet and the devil inside of it, you would be long dead.

"Just one more question. Are you posing any danger to me or my allies?"
