Talking and teasing

Everyone splits up to get things done, with Ferra and Melora coming with you. The three of you collect some supplies, though mostly you just enjoy spending time with them. According to Melora, there shouldn’t be much hassle from here on, as long as you stay away from cities, and your route steers well clear of those. The small towns are more likely to be friendly, and even the Order presence there will be unlikely to bother you as long as you keep a low profile.

You also ask their opinions on Sarah, especially since they’ve gotten to know her quite well over the last couple nights. Ferra, of course, is unfazed by your teasing, but Melora blushes brightly. Both of them, however, seem to have really taken to the hellhound. Ferra appreciates her talents and strength, while Melora finds her upbeat attitude pleasant. Melora also is amazed at how resilient Sarah is, having stayed positive even through her hardships. More than anyone else, Melora and Sarah understand what it’s like being held against your will.

Despite all the praise, Melora can’t help but get a bit of **** for embarrassing her earlier. “Don’t worry, Nicholas, we all approve of your prison lover!”

Caught off guard, you stare at her for a moment before answering. “What? She’s not…I mean, yeah, I met her in…”

Ferra cuts in. “Be nice, Melora. Of course Nicholas would find a woman in prison. He stumbles over beautiful women everywhere he goes.”

Once again surprised, you look at Ferra, catching her hiding her small smile. Melora giggles. “I suppose so, and I can’t complain, since we get to have fun too!”

You sigh, shaking your head. “I figured I was safe with you two. You’re the serious ones!”

Ferra cocks her head. “I said nothing inaccurate. Everywhere we’ve gone you’ve added to the harem. It is not a complaint, merely an observation.”

Despite her words, there’s a definite curl to her lips that tells you she’s still teasing. Melora is far less subtle. “It’s true. You seduced me immediately! I was just a poor innocent blind girl!”

You groan. “Ok, ok. Yeah, I’ve stumbled into a harem, somehow. But as you said, it’s not like you are neglected.”

Melora grins. “No, but we are all very needy. I’m looking forward to our celebration orgy when we get home!”

You laugh. “So much for the innocent girl, hmm?”

She nods excitedly.
