Chapter 7

where do you go?
A mall
Its still early in the day, so a bar or nightclub is out. After a bit you decide that a mall is probably a decent place to find someone. It also helps that its right near by. After a short walk you are stepping through the doors and you take in the crowds of people and the scent of popcorn drifting in from the food court. You look at the fashion on display and snort at the heavy use of elastics and halter tops to show off how small a woman's breasts are.
As you pass a victoria's secret ad that shows a skinny twig of a woman wearing underwear and coyly covering her nearly flat chest with an arm you finally see a potential target. A woman is sitting in a hoody, hunched over and looking at her phone, and you can tell even through her baggy clothes that she is stacked. She is decently attractive with a round face and shoulder length brown hair, but your eyes are drawn to her hips which are wide and plump and her breasts which must be massive for how they are still showing through the baggy clothes. In counterpoint to (what you think is) her amazing figure, her behavior screams "don't look at me, I'm insecure."
Walking over your brain goes through a bunch of cheesy pickup lines before discarding them. You don't want to scare her off, and she might just think you are mocking her. Sitting down next to her you ask in a friendly voice "So, what's a lovely woman like you doing sitting all alone?"
She startles and looks up at you with wild eyes before eloquently blurting out "Wha? who?" A blush creeps over her when she sees who is talking. Her eyes roam over you for a moment before lingering on your crotch and then guiltily snapping back up to meet your eyes. "I-i'm waiting for my friend to finish shopping." she continues awkwardly. She gestures to the store behind you.
"Oh, well shame on her for leaving you here. Unless was it was a boyfriend?" You push through to keep the conversation going.
She rolls her eyes and says under her breath "I wish." before answering "No, its just my friend, she drags me out of the house occasionally. She is so pretty and skinny and I keep telling her to leave me be. Its not like I'm gonna find a boyfrie..." She trails off when she remembers who she is talking to and refuses to meet your eyes in embarrassment.
You try and hide your amusement at her discomfort as you cheerfully say "Oh good, since you are single you can join me for lunch! Come on!" You grab her as she has a startled look in her eyes but doesn't resist as you drag her back to the food court. She continues to let out small sounds of protest as you drag her in front of a chinese food stand and rattle off your order to the bemused clerk standing behind the counter. Turning to the woman who still hasn't volunteered her name you ask "What do you want? My treat."
She just stands there for a moment with a dazed look in her eyes before finally shaking her head and placing an order. You pay as she takes the food and rushes over to get you both a table. You almost laugh as she pulls out your chair for you before you both begin eating. After a moment She looks up at you with a thoughtful look on her face and swallows before tentatively asking "You aren't trying to mock me are you?" You can sense a lifetime of insecurity and ridicule behind the question so you take a moment before you answer.
"No, I saw a lovely single woman who I would like to get to *know* better." You put just enough emphasis on the word know to make it sound like it might be a euphemism. Her eyes widen a bit and her blush returns as she quickly scarfs down some food. You let out a chuckle.
Her phone chimes and she texts a quick reply as the two of you make small talk about people you see around and bits about your lives. A few minutes later a tiny woman wearing a tube top and skirt bounces over and bursts out "Oh my goodness! Did you grab a date while I was in there? She didn't bully you into this did she?"
You smile at her friend and say "No, I must confess that I am the one who dragged her over here."
She narrows here eyes at you. "You better not be doing this just to hurt her. Or I will... Damn, cant think of anything vaguely threatening. I will do bad things to you!" she says.
You give her a grin and say "Ill look forward to it." before chuckling as she flushes a bit and sputters.
You finish up the last of your food "Well, The next question is..." You say to your date "Do you want to take me home?" You wait just long enough to almost see the dirty thoughts flashing behind her eyes before continuing "Cause I walked here, and if you have a car a ride back would be nice."
"O-of course" she shakily gets out before turning to her friend with a pleading look. Her friend sighs, "Of course, I understand. We can... tomorrow." she awkwardly finishes, clearly not wanting to say something in front of you. She turns and waves over her shoulder as she leaves.
