The collection of weapons and deadly tools here. A veritable armory. You've seen many like this in the Underdark, either stockpiles in the eternal conflict against the surface world, or the political conflicts with one another. You were once deep in such things, having been trained in a number of these weapons, but what little appeal they had for you has long since vanished.

The desire to destroy, to harm, and kill was not in you, though it took you many years to have the bravery to express it. For a time, you could convince yourself that it was a matter of defense of your people and your culture, but even that you could not explain for long. Your home was so deep and protected that almost none of the Children of the Six Sisters, the races of the surface world, would ever step foot there. The few that did, from what you understand, had arrived accidentally while hunting other enemies. The offensives were almost all in one direction. As to the culture, there was little of it that you felt should be defended.
Your family and the Drow community wouldn't stand for such things, seeing your reluctance as weakness and treason. You fled for your life, making your way to the surface world of T'sara, and immediately finding that it was for the better, once your pursuers finally gave up the chase. Distrust of you was rampant, the wounds and the memories of the Triumvirate War, that your kind launched in common cause with the Orcs and the Dreadlords, still lingered. The millenia of old myths and stories meant to frighten children into obedience of being taken in their sleep by Drow witches and the like hadn't helped either, particularly among the superstitious set. Despite all of that, you were able to find a space where you could survive without being accosted and threatened, in the coastal nation of the Comachavet Admiralty. It was a peaceful and beautiful location, the kind you didn't think possible in any part of the world when you were still under influence of your home. You felt a kindred spirit among their countrymen and their culture. Wedged between two large and competing Empires, the Linthalians to the south, and the Naztalans to the north, these people have sacrificed much for their independency, just as you have. What's more, your new life here allowed you to discover your true self, and with some proper tutoring and mentoring, find your true calling as a bard. You were best at singing, your voice naturally suited to the task, but you'd also developed a keen interest and growing talent in the harp and the flute.

Like being back in the cities deep in the Underdark, it doesn't look like there's an escape from this. Rather than looking at the weapons about, you tried to find a secret lever or some kind of mechanism to open up the gate. Curiously, inspecting the area closely, you discovered that a few layers of brick were different from the others, as if they were extracted and constructed from different quarries. In this band, you spot holes or imperfections that seem to travel along. A less studious eye would have overlooked it as poor workmanship, but you saw it as the means of your salvation, as it's actually musical notes on a bar graph. Looking over the melody, you practiced in your mind, grasping the structure. Having closed your eyes, singing from memory, you used your now well trained and lovely voice you sang the melody on the wall. Hearing a loud and distant shout, you opened your eyes to find yourself in familiar environs. You're in your apartment home, in bed. The whole thing was a strange dream, you've quickly convinced yourself. Looking out the window, there's a minor scuffle between businessmen. Nothing of your concern, but you're thankful that the noise pulled you out of your slumber. Seeing the time of day, you've likely slept in longer than you hoped, meaning it was time to pry yourself out and begin the day.

Having this private space for yourself, something you wouldn't have imagined back home, granted you the personal freedom to ignore social norms. Like most mornings, you chose to spend your time in the nude. It gave you a thrill, especially at the idea of someone catching you. You wouldn't be so brave as to invite or make yourself indecent in public, but it was fun to think about, especially as you took the time to brush your lengthy hair, which reached down to the bottom of your ass. Of all the people you've met across all the races, you've never met someone with theirs as long as yours. It made you feel pretty, and a way to be proud of your individuality, something you didn't really have before.

The lenghty task complete, you made yourself decent and went out to begin the day, out into the inland city of Paude.
