Not only that but a number of areas have been turned into meeting points for whatever emergencies might pop up and C4 the old Jones house is the meeting point and armoury for, when possible, bandits, freak hordes or outside troublemakers come calling to town from a certain direction.

As you lug the thing to a waiting truck that Watts sends flying as soon as you hope in the back of the bed you see Sgt Keyes shouting out orders and think back to when she joined the group only a few weeks ago. Sgt Keyes is the sister of one of the CDC Doctors, Doctor Akira was stationed in the centre and had been able to get in touch with her sister before all long-range communication went down and invited her to join her here. It took Sgt Keyes and her friends a while to get to town but in the end, it was worth it, over the last few months the odd group has turned up here and there in twos or Sgt Keyes case a lot as she collected a number of stragglers on her journey.

Lucky for you it meant you got two full squads worth of trained soldiers who turned up one day with two trucks worth of gear, food and ammo and five military light recon vehicles. Sgt Keyes had been in constant contact with her sister for most of the troubles so when everything fell apart, she packed her gear up and told her unit she was leaving to go meet up with her only family. Most did the same thing and left to see if they could find loved ones, but nine others joined her on her little cross-country trip, by the time she reached town that number had reached eighteen. The groups' introduction to town was a funny one but you can only hope things go half as well as what might be about to go down with this lot.
