Jokes and jealousy

In the morning, you wake to find that Ferra hasn’t moved from your chest. Although she doesn’t need to sleep, you’ve found that she always appreciates closeness, especially right now. Normally, you’re happy about it, and the golem girl makes a surprisingly comfortable blanket, but this morning it leads to a mildly embarrassing moment, as you’re the last to awaken.

What woke you was giggling, and you see Alex and Cassie nearby, whispering to each other, while Melora and Sarah turn away suddenly. Despite their efforts to hide it, you know they’re all talking about what they must have heard last night. Seemingly oblivious, Ferra lifts her head and gives you a kiss.

“Morning, my love. I fear I may have overworked you. The others are ready to go.”

You chuckle, sitting up and gathering your clothes as Ferra slides off you. Despite her seeming ignorance, you can see a slight smile curl the corners of her lips. She knows exactly what’s happening. You smile and shake your head, getting dressed and stretching out.

As you expected, Alex is the first to pipe up. “Did we have a good night, my bondmate? Hopefully you’re well rested?”

You nod. “I had a wonderful night, thanks. It’s good to be back with the ones I love.”

Cassie giggles, her colors a mix of bright greens and pinks. “So…when can I get some of what she had?”

Sarah nods. “Put me down for one of those as well!”

You laugh, and glance at Melora, who so far has kept quiet. You’re surprised to see her blushing, but not at all surprised when she nods. “Yes, count me in too. If that was you two being quiet, I’d love to see what happens when you let loose!”

You smile and shake your head. “Well, you all know I can’t say no to you girls. As soon as we’re able, I’ll make sure everyone is satisfied.”

Ferra takes your hand. “If satisfaction is what we want…I need more.”

Everyone laughs, but before you can answer that, Victor steps into the clearing. “I don’t like being the downer here, but we should probably get moving. We have a lot of ground to cover.”

He looks at you, and grins. “That is, if you can make it. I know you were busy last night!”

Now it’s your turn to blush. “Yeah, I think I’ll be fine.”

Victor shrugs. “I’m just jealous. You’ll have to tell me your secrets some time!”

You roll your eyes.
